Yup, an act of desparation. Who cares what baseball team is his favorite! One of her staffers told her she should make sure to point out that Giuliani is a "Yankee fan" to put down Brown. Guilt by association. Coakley was dumb enough to think that the label could be equally applied to anyone that supports Brown.
I'm betting that staffer no longer has a job.
