British singing sensation Susan Boyle stunned passengers in a VIP lounge at London's Heathrow Airport after she started shouting swear words and singing into a mop, The Sun reported Friday.
The singer, 48, whose debut album I Dreamed a Dream has sold more than three million copies worldwide, suddenly grabbed the mop from a cleaner and began to treat it as a makeshift microphone as she suffered another public meltdown on Tuesday.
During her bizarre performance, which sparked complaints to British Airways (BA) staff, she also used the mop to polish passengers' shoes.
Airline employees tried to calm her down only for Boyle, affectionately known as SuBo, to flee the Terminal 5 lounge, yelling, "I've escaped, I've escaped!"
A source said: "It was chaos. Susan was very restless and agitated from the minute she walked in and immediately started making a scene.

Are there no prisons? Are there no work houses?...
I hope they checked her undies.
She has amply demonstrated that she does not take well to stress. She needs an assistant to help her thruouh whats shes experiencing. Too much, too fast. Its all sensory overload to her.
I am ashamed to admit I laughed at this description of her behavior.
On reflection, I feel sorry for this sad, poor woman.
I have been reflecting lately on whether true happiness might be to walk away from EVERY ONE of the proffered “gods” of our society, money, fame, status, luxury..... and focus on the little things like being faithful to my wonderful wife, loving and praying for my (grown) children, etc.
Susan Boyle is a page in that chapter of thought. She may well come to curse the day she got what everyone tells you that you “want.”
Ths lady should have a full time attendant/personal assistant who travels with her and who understands her mental handicap. She has a staggering talent but obviously has a disability. Bipolar? Or something on the spectrum.
When she first stunned the audience on the talent show, one of the first thoughts through my mind was how a talent like that had stayed hidden so long. We’re finding out now.
She’s a crazy b*tch.
Very true.
I guess we have to disagree
Having watched her perform a duet with her idol Elaine Paige (who also is a staggering talent, imho)- I’d have to rate Subo almost equal-
staggering, considering her lack of training and experience
Her ordinariness, dowdiness is part of her story, as it is with the discovery of such talents as phone salesman Paul Potts, gap toothed 13 yr old Faryl Smith (great that the Brits who succeed finally get their teeth fixed), the chubby choirboy Andrew Johnson, the overweight Jennifer Hudson, auto mechanic Daughtry (sorry, I’m just not into the cue ball look) - and others!
But their talent- just shines
Here’s SuBo with Elaine Paige

No, she seems bipolar, and/or maybe asberger’s- somewhere on the spectrum. Inappropriate behavior, lack of emotional control, poor boundaries. I don’t get the “bitch” part

I agree, fame and fortune doesn’t make one a better, or happier, person. Years ago I knew a woman, sang in church and some local functions, who had an exceptional voice. She could easily have gotten a recording contract, had been approached several times, but liked her life as it was. Lost track of her but suspect she is happier, and has a better life, than if she had accepted the offer.
She needs help, it seems - and isn’t it curious that the media never mentioned she and her mother were living on welfare before she was “discovered” despite having lots of other family members who could support them? Or is it no big deal anymore and I’m a naive twit (Ok, ok..I know...)...
In other words, a bitch.
She has some obv socialization issues, may very well be asbergers or even a mild form of paranoid schizophrenia. Many folks with these issues even manage to hold down jobs. That said, I’m extremely happy she has come this far.
And yeah, I don’t get the ‘bitch’ comment either.

Somewhere, someone is saying “now they know....
I agree.
