If you are not a fan of Calvin and Hobbes, a comic strip written and illustrated by Bill Watterson, then you may not know that Calvin was an imaginative little boy who created snowmen and put them in scenes that would be straight out of a snowmans nightmare. Little Calvin would have the snowmen in scenes where the snowmen would die horrible, mostly painful, deaths. For ten winters, Calvin and Hobbes created entire worlds of snowmen living or dying in unhappily ever after ways. Here are some of the best snowmen nightmares, where fans of the comic strip created tributes to Calvin and Hobbes snowmen in real life.

I love Calvin and Hobbes, particularly the snowmen episodes. I just love the one where his dad says to his mother "I think we should get that kid to a psychologist." Great stuff!

OMG!! I haven’t laughed that hard in a LOOOOONG time. I remember when I was overseas on a remote tour (away from my family for a year), it seemed as if it was the highlight of my day when I could buy the Stars and Stripes and see the newest Calvin and Hobbs. You brought back many a fine memory. (((Thanks!!)))

Completely tasteless of that person to have drawn that.

My mother and I used to cut out the strips and send them to each other. You would have thought the cartoonist was watching my oldest son.
My youngest is following in his older brother’s footsteps.

Calvin and Hobbes was funny, but then Watterson ran out of ideas and took his sabbaticals, and it was never the same. His became another screechy left-wing strip, just another Doonesbury with a little kid. Watterson lost me after that.

I always thought Calvin’s creator must have had one very interesting childhood. Your “daydream” post is priceless. It’s also how I spent most of elementary school ;-)

Naaa, you couldn't have been a daydreamer, you're much too intelligent for that. - or else osmosis was at work!
I have a letter ‘half written’ to you but just got waylaid by the O’Reilly show, lol.
