I love Calvin and Hobbes, particularly the snowmen episodes. I just love the one where his dad says to his mother "I think we should get that kid to a psychologist." Great stuff!

OMG!! I haven’t laughed that hard in a LOOOOONG time. I remember when I was overseas on a remote tour (away from my family for a year), it seemed as if it was the highlight of my day when I could buy the Stars and Stripes and see the newest Calvin and Hobbs. Calvin and Hobbes was funny, but then Watterson ran out of ideas and took his sabbaticals, and it was never the same. His became another screechy left-wing strip, just another Doonesbury with a little kid. Watterson lost me after that.
