help me too! my desktop just gave a loud pop sound then crashed...it still fires up but screen says there is no signal...is it dead?Did any of the smoke get out? Computers don't work if any of the smoke gets out.

Once you let the smoke out of the computer chips inside the box it ought to function much more predictably.NO! If you let the smoke out, it stops working!
The magic smoke must stay inside the device for it to work!

Did any of the smoke get out? Computers don't work if any of the smoke gets out. Just to be on the safe side; I blow smoke into my computers on a regular basis.
