"Compatibility" does not require that you meet any particular person's definition of "conservative". For example, there are many of us here who might describe themselves more as "(small-l) libertarian", but we find much common cause and agreement with the conservative principles and philosophy of FreeRepublic, as stated on the home page by our host, Jim Robinson.
Compatibility -does- require that you seek, learn, and follow the rules and traditions of the site, which are posted in conspicuous places (or you can search for them). You have been here a couple months, so perhaps you have already found some of them.
For example, we are all guests in Jim Robinson's virtual living room. We strive to express our differences of opinion civilly and with respect for each other and FR.
