Elsie, I NEVER said that the LDS didn't believe that Zion would be established in the US. My statement was to the posters comment: "The main point is: Mormons believe in prophecies specifically about the US Constitution and a time where there will be a spiritual duty for Mormons to rise up and "preserve it."

Unless it has been voted on in General Conference and placed in the Doctrine and Covenents it is NOT considered a Revelation/Prophecy.

Articles of Faith are NOT Prophecy, they are Articles of Faith.

If it was not put in the "Doctrine and Covenants" it is not considered a prophecy.

Articles of Faith are NOT Prophecy, they are Articles of Faith.

The AoF is SCRIPTURE, and anything that is in SCRIPTURE, that testifies about a FUTURE event, is PROPHECY!

(I don't make the rules about how to parse words; I just obey them.)
