These patents are all part of the suite of patents that Nokia submitted to the international standards body to be included in those standard and signed agreements to license those patents under fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory terms, (F/RAND), which Nokia then broke when it came to licensing them to Apple, demanding THREE times the normal rates AND demanding free access to Apple's non-shared iPhone patents. When Apple refused to agree to sharing its patents, Nokia went ahead and used them anyway... and refused to license the standards patents... which was in blatant violation of the international standards rules.

On the other hand, it would be amusing to see a U.S. company barred from importing it’s own products into the U.S.

I’ve gotten along just fine without Apple computers, Ipods, Inannies, Ibrainwashing or any other Icrap. There already too many wireheads around.

Please. Someone stop Apple before we all end up looking like those futuristic humans with atrophied legs and big craniums.

Wow... Nokia is infringing on at least 12 Apple patents, but wants to bar Apple from importing their own goods based on a pretty lame case for 7 Nokia patents (that they are trying to charge Apple 10 times the rate they are charging other licensees to use the same technology).
I use to have a lot or respect for Nokia - they at one time were about the best you could get in cell phone technology. I guess they have decided to abandon what made them great and instead turn to insane licensing schemes that penalize the most successful out there instead of innovating themselves.
