Unlicensed tattooists and the tattooing of minors are illegal in Georgia.

Look, I’m not going to tell anyone what to do with their body or how to live their life. However, there is one thing I never really understood. What the hell is the point in receiving a tattoo? What purpose does it serve? I just want to understand the fascination with it.

It just never made any sense to me and even well-done ‘body art’ just doesn’t look anything less than trashy to me. Piercings, I understand to an extent. Jewelry can look good. Tattoos, however, cannot.

I certainly am not implying that tattoos are detrimental, I just don’t understand why people do it. Is it like cigarette smoking? Addictive and hard to stop?

I understand the beauty of some of it, but I don’t understand doing something to your body that is IRREVERSIBLE..FOREVER...ALWAYS...FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. That, I don’t get.

One of my favorite socio-economic indicators is the tooth-to-tattoo ratio. But baby teeth don’t count.

Might want to doublecheck.

100 is missing, and that is usually called average (not 115)

In the Austin area, tats are almost de rigueur. It’s amazing the number of nice, middle income types with tattoos in the most inappropriate places. Like, where you can see them....

So I was wondering, if they weren’t already from Georgia, would tatooing a kid with a guitar string give him a twang?
