Revenge is a dish best served cold...It is cold in Dallas today.
Go Cowboys.
THE ALTERNATIVE TO complicated scenarios .... (TO BE UPDATED BY 4PM approx.)
... the final draft on the easiest way to do the AFC wildcard. After next week, teams finish 9-7:
1. NYJ ...... 9-7 .... conference 7-5 (has S.O.V. over BALT & DEN)
2. BALT ...... 9-7 ................... 7-5 (beat DEN head-to-head)
3. DEN ...... 9-7 .................. 7-5
4. HOUS ...... 9-7 .................. 6-6 (won common games over PITT)
5. PITT ...... 9-7 ................. 6-6 (beat DEN head-to-head)
6. JAX at 8-8 .... conference 7-5
7. DEN at 8-8 .... conference 6-6 (has S.O.V. over MIA)
8. MIAMI at 8-8 .... conference 6-6 (would have tiebreaker over all 8-8 teams, except: (6.) JAX & (7.) DEN)
the TOP TWO get the Wildcard. If a team loses, cross them OFF and move everyone BELOW up one. The only exception: if HOUS loses, PITT jumps all the way to number 3, ahead of DEN. (PITT beat DEN head-to-head.)
If all 6 top teams lose, its DEN and MIAMI. (MIAMI plays PITT, so they both cannot lose.)
(... so heres examples: HOUS must win and have 2 teams above them lose to move from 4. to 2. and get a Wildcard. JAX must win and have 4 teams above them lose to move from 6. to 2.)
The Seahawks are playing both the Titans and the Chargers??
Nice thread mainepatsfan.Go Eagles go Eagles.
Myself-lived in Denver 10 years and grew to love the Broncos under John Elway's leadership on the field, have lived in Indy, just outside Indianapolis for 11 years now and REALLY love the Colts (and what a stellar group of men these players are-our community just loves um!) and because of growing up near Cincy, where I was born...am absolutely THRILLED at the season this team is having and am so GLAD for their fans!!!
TO think of Brady winning the SB kinda makes me sick-I don't like the arrogant prick and the way he turned his back on Manning a few years back after a game he (Mr. GQ Brady ) lost. Not really a reason to pan a team but then I have a bro who lives in Boston and it makes for a healthy rivalry. I sure hope the predictions are ALL upside down!
And the Bears...this year? I hope not.
I'd love to see the Colts WHOMP San Diego in an SB this year and that is what I am pulling for!
NY Daily News has memorable moments from Giant Stadium history.
