Well, I think Mike McCarthy wanted to at least have his starters gain a confidence going into the game next week since it will be in the same location, and also place a little doubt in the Buzzards minds. The Buzzards have looked bad from the get go, but that has been their MO all year...each week you never know which team will show up. Next week they could be up on the Pack 26-0 at the half.
The Packers are a much better team than the Buzzards, but it is practically unprecedented to beat the same team twice in a row on the road.

Ravens shank a FG at the end of the first half. They’re letting the Raiders stay in the game. Titans and Hawks tied at the half. Broncs and Chiefs tied at half.

Tell me the Deadskins are not beating the Charbugers at the half!

GB is clinching the #5 so it will be:
GB#5 @ AZ #4
if DAL wins, PH#6 @ DAL#3
(if PH wins, DAL#6 @ MINN#3)

In the Raiders/Ravens game, the Raiders get a gift TD a few plays after a PI call on the Ravens. When CBS showed the replay, even mild mannered Phil Simms was stunned. I mean dude wasn’t even close to Johnny Lee Higgens....

Eagles miss a long FG. Dallas takes over.

Miss by Akers. The Eagles look just plain awful out there. Celek is the only bright spot - he’s become a real threat.

That’s weird that Philly could drop from 2 to 6.

The Eagles play in bursts. I won’t relax until this game is over.

Felix Jones is just plain unstoppedable today.
To: The Pack Knight
Except by the refs. They’ve been throwing flags on both teams today.

Yup, looks like the Eagles defense is showing some life out there. I wouldn’t say it’s time for chest bumps and high fives yet, though.
You’re right, though, especially with their defense. Some games they’re flying to the ball, but others, like most of this game, they look like they’re in slow motion and couldn’t tackle a Pop Warner kid. I think they’re really missing guys like Dawkins and Kearse these days.
To: Richard Kimball
Huh...Packers starters still in there

Instead of Felix Jones, I should have been talking about the Cowboys run blocking, especially by the left side of the line. Other than that hold, they look like they could run that off-tackle play to the left all day. They’re getting to the secondary almost every time, and even when a linebacker gets him, it’s a shoestring tackle and he gets 5 yards, which is all you really need most of the time.

I am kind of enjoying the fact that we’re still in this game. I have a seething hatred for the Baltimore Magpies after the 00 AFC Title game. Let’s Go Raiders!!!

KC is back up on Denver by 3. I can’t believe the Broncs can’t put away the Chiefs with a playoff spot on the line.
