Has anyone heard anything? Still worried.
From? My understanding is there are a lot of program directors and general managers that play his show that are concerned because they don't know what's going on.
You mean, like Capt. Pike in the original Star Trek TV show?
Leave the man alone. If you are concerned, pray for him. He will release information on his condition when he deems the time is right. Practice a bit of patience.
To fellow Freepers: Like all of you, my heart sank when I heard about Rush and he has my prayers for a speedy recovery. The first time I heard Rush, I began jumping up and down and hollering, eventhough I was alone. During the following 20+ years my day has included 3 hours of Rush. Like a great teacher or coach, Rush has opened our eyes and minds to what the left is doing to America. To honor this great teacher, we should re-double our indivual efforts to defeat liberalism, and show Rush that his efforts have been succesful. Perhaps take a bit of the load off his shoulders. Becuase of Rush all conservatives have a louder voice that liberals will never silence. To honor Rush, let’s all make our voices impossible to ignore.
sorry for the double post, my computer lost its head there for a second.
I heard yesterday - I think it was Walter Williams - that Rush was going to have a complete physical today. I remember thinking that would be New Year’s Day and a 3 day weekend.
Even if he receives the complete physical today, HI is 5 hours behind East Coast time.
I would not release any info until after the physical is done which could be Monday for all results etc.
With HIPPA, wouldn’t Rush have to approve any press releases on his condition, diagnosis or treatment? If Rush is unable to give permission, unless he has a surrogate who has that right, the hospital isn’t allowed to release information.
While it is worrisome that we’ve heard no news; Consider the despicable way the left and the media attacked Rush for his problems with pain medications. Who can blame him from wanting to keep this incident as private as possible?
A few years ago my husband awoke with severe chest pains, a numb left arm, sweating and nausea; all the signs of a heart attack.
After three days in the hospital and multiple tests it was determined hubby did not have a heart attack, he had had a gallbladder attack.
I’m sure Rush is being tested for every possible heart related condition; it takes time.
I expect if nothing is found to indicate any heart defect he will be released late today or tomorrow.
Yes to all you said, but what it comes down to is that if it were, say, esophageal spasm (which can mimic a heart attack) they would have told us and he would have been released. He is still in the hospital and that means it was NOT unimportant.
Thanks for the information. I am keeping Rush in my prayers.
I hope we have an update on his condition sometime today.
I heard it in a news break last night on Fox News. Nothing since.
My husband had a heart attack at our home in Tortola, BVI.
They could only stabilize him until we got MedVac to Puerto Rico. Two weeks there in 1999 with 3 stints. Flew to PR in a small jet.
Flew home from San Juan commercially!
That was almost 12 year ago. He did suffer damage to his heart, but no wonder. I am sure Rush is getting the best care possible, even if they had to fly in the world's best Cardiologist!
Glad he lost the weight and now he WILL be exercising regularly and watching his diet. Blessings and patience to Katherine who I am sure will be a positive recovery force in Rush's life.
Also, it is only natural with any kind of heart attack to experience depression. I pray Rush's doctor informs him of his phenonom and puts him on an antidepressent as appropriate.
God Bless YOU Rush, our prayers are with you and all those you love!
PS: Time to give us those “little Blue Pills” It was disappointing to my hubby, but he's alive and there are ways to lead an active sex life.
PSS: Any of you men over 50.....see you doctor first for a cardiovascular exam.....that appendage is the first sign of Heart Disease. It's the first “organ” that doesn't get enough blood to get to Attention.....but when the blood flow start give you pains in the chest....that will get your attention and maybe take you away before you can appreciate what life is all about.
Could it be they are putting him through a battery of tests to rule out any heart defects?
I posted to another user about my husband being in the hospital for 3 days after he had severe chest pains which were eventually diagnosed as a gallbladder attack.
Stress tests, angiogram, monitoring, blood work, chem panels etc etc all take time.
I’m praying the Doc’s are being extremely thorough and considering every possible scenario while performing every test available for diagnosis and that is what is taking so long.
True enough, but a heart attack (or any of its related disorders) would have been ruled out by now, and they would have told us that by now if that indeed were the case.
Thank God the Health Care Bill hasn't passed yet!
Obama would have gotten a call immediately from the hospital and made the executive decision to put Rush at the end of he line!
God, in the name of Jesus my Lord and Savior, I ask in His name to touch Rush Limbaugh and bless him with good health, love, wisdom and wit. Amen.
FLASH.....
I just heard this on the radio....it was the last story broadcast on FOX Radio at 4:04 PM Eastern time....
The announcer said that an update on Rush Limbaugh’s condition was coming from the Honolulu hospital....by RUSH LIMBAUGH! That’s right....according to FOX, Rush is going to update his condition to the world in person at a news conference shortly. Wow! I hope it’s true, and that he’s OK.
