Has anyone heard anything? Still worried.
A quick creatine kinase enzyme levels check would tell them if Rush had an infarction. I suspect if he hadn’t, he’d be out by now, but who knows... prayers out to him no matter what!
Dunno, but I wonder if the 1st family visited him while in Hawaii.
Who says we have a healthcare crisis?
For what it’s worth - Drudge hasn’t done much to update his site in the past 24, but in the past half hour all links to Rush stories were removed.
That is great news about your father. Glad to hear he is doing well.
Good for your Dad. I had it done in 95 and still going strong so far. I feel that I am on borrowed time as my dad died at 61 and my older brother at 59. Heart problems go rampant in my family. I attribute my years (71 on Jan.10) to living on Maui for the last 40 years and getting out of the Calif. fast lane. My motto after moving here was, “always put off until tomorrow what you don’t absolutely have to get done today”. Works for me. LOL
Last I heard, he was having a series of tests done yesterday, so he could still be in the hospital until all results are in and it may also be that there won’t be any updates until they can clearly state what happened.
Thanks, I pray I’m in a good of shape as he is in when I’m that age. In a month he’s heading to Sun Valley for his annual ski trip.
same here, no news is likely bad news.
I hope we hear directly from Rush on Monday. He could do a simple call-in to the show arranged by his producer, and tell us how he is doing. He’s a private man in many ways. I’m glad his medical ordeal has not been all over the news. It’s his own business, and he should tell us only what he would like to share with his loyal listeners.
Get Well Fast, Rush!
It is still way early “over there’.....barely past 5:30 a.m. Hoping we will get an update by noon “their time”.
Glad you are doing well! Have you paid a visit to rush yet? Go find out how he’s doing and let us know! lol
Also with it being a holiday weekend I imagine the hospital is scheduled with reduced staffing and services.
All that’s been said is that he’s resting comfortably after chest pains. It doesn’t sound to me (not medical) as if it precludes a heart attack. I think it’s fine to protect his privacy; meanwhile, prayers up!
I heard yesterday that he will be broadcasting his show Monday. That surprised me, but I think that means he’s fine.
You should know by now that they're all busy writing gleeful obituaries...
One year ago I had the same thing. Went to the doc on January 5, he put me on the treadmill and the next day he sent me to St. George for an Angiogram. Half way into what I thought would be a stent placement, they stopped and said I needed to see the Surgeon. One week later they did a quadruple bypass in Salt Lake City. Quite a year! I think Rush might just be a candidate for a major bypass. In any case the technology is so advanced that the risk is very low. They actually used the Da Vinci robot to remove and re attach the Mammary Artery in my left shoulder.
By the way back in the early seventies I was a young salesman in the San Francisco Bay area. Every year one of my fishing buddies and I would go to Orleans and camp at the home of Trudi Mollier, Secretary of the Karok/Yurok tribe. She had been a friend of his family for over forty years. Her brother was Billy Pearson who owned the store at Weitchpec. He had bottled Sturgeon and Caviar which we always enjoyed with lots of beer. Great times back then!
