Mornin’ Amy.
Tule fog blew away with the overnight wind and rain. Blue sky and sunshine have brightened my day. C’mon spring and summer.
You have email!
May I suggest you use either Carbonite or Mosey (On-line back up) You will lose nothing after that! I have backed up thousands of pictures and all my writing for my books and poetry, and even if the computer crashes, I can get another computer, and download all the files. It is a big deal to do the original backup, but after that, its goes on in the background and you will not lose a file ever again. You can go to say the Rush Limbaugh site and hit the Carbonite link and you can get the service for a year but only pay for ten months! Check it out, serious peace of mind for me I can tell you.
A really beautiful graphic, Amy!

When I was a kid, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite! When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he said: "Honey, I love burned biscuits."
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides - a little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"
Life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people. I'm not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else. But what I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other faults - and choosing to celebrate each others differences - is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.
And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of God. Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a relationship where a burnt biscuit isn't a deal-breaker!
We could extend this to any relationship. In fact, understanding is the base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or siblings or friendship!
"Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - keep it in your own."
So Please pass me a biscuit, and yes, the burnt one will do just fine.
Amen, JOHNN.
It is so very sad to see the devastation. Praying for those trapped; praying for their speedy rescue.
“I care not to partake in your offerings today, no matter how you dressed them up”
WHAT! After I worked so hard on a hot grill scraping breakfast off??? Well, I never...Ok then, ordinary stuff for you then!
*GRIN*
Fun hearing that old saying “Well, I never....(don’t hear that much anymore!)
Happy Warm Fuzzy Wednesday, Billie. Boy.... am I starting behind this morning. Thank you for yesterday's wonderful graphic and poem. Also, thank you for the darling Happy Feet Graphic that was featured today. I started my graphic yesterday but had nothing but problems. I was probably trying to rush it. :) I had an appt for my annual physical at 12:30 yesterday. Wouldn't you know it ... he was running late! He ordered every test in the book. We didn't get home until after 5:00. No shopping .... just bank and P.O. I needed a nap when I got home so .... another day of being AWOL. Hope you are having a lovely day. I see where Jaycee is having sunshine .. hope your weather is warming up a little. PS: Still having snow coding problems.
I hope you know you don't have to apologize to ME for missing yesterday! I seem to be having a harder time than usual getting back in the groove of things and getting here more than a couple of times a week. :(
I hope all those tests at the doctor's just proved you are healthy and fit as a fiddle. :)
Glad you liked yesterday's opening, and of course I think the penguins today are always cute and fun - glad you found them again. :)
I don't see what problem you're having with the snow. ???
Ok, I see now - I didn't know you had this gradient pink/blue frame at the bottom of the graphic (in your snowing graphic)
I'll look at source. :)

You have to put the FULL dimensions of your graphic (both width AND height) in your first table. The height of the graphic is 488, and your largest 'height' dimension was in one of your animated snow gifs at height=400.
So if you had put in your first table the url and the width=612 height=488, (AS WELL AS CELLPADDING=0 CELLSPACING=0), it would look like this:

I’ll be darned!!!
I always put the width and height in the post. How did I miss that? I see that you used the heigth=488 as heigth=”488”. Does the quotes make any difference?
