Joy Behar: Sarah Palin’s ‘Base Doesn’t Even Read’

Joy Behar expressed confusion about the success of Sarah Palin's book because, according to the CNN Headline News/ABC talk show host, a lot of the former governor's "base doesn't even read." Behar slammed Palin, as well as Glenn Beck, Carrie Prejean and other conservatives during her "look back at 2009" edition of the "Joy Behar Show" that re-aired over Christmas weekend.

An "esteemed" panel consisting of comedians Sandra Bernhard, Mo Rocca and Dave Attell joined Behar in mocking this year's prominent voices on the right.

Almost got into it on Christmas morning with my lib brother. I got him a book he asked for and as he was opening it, my mom gave me Sarah Palin’s book. I cracked a joke to him asking if he would like to borrow it when I’m done. He said he would if I read one of his Al Franken (LOL) books, but that he would be done in no time because at least Al Franken doesn’t write like a 4th grader.

I changed the subject because I didn’t want to upset the folks with a throw down. My dad gave me the “I agree with you, honey, but please play nice with your brother” look.

Of course, that’s assuming her lifetime list includes 20 books, which may be assuming too much.

Ah, yes. Here we see an example of the "joy-behar" in it's natural, native habitat. As you can see the "joy-behar" species communicates over long distances by emitting a series of loud screech-like howls. To date, zoologists have not been successful in interpreting any of the howling although at lease fourteen distinct variations of the howl have been identified. (photo below)

LOL - Of course they don't read! I cannot imagine Thomas Sowell, Fred Malek, Rush Limbaugh, Camille Paglia, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, et al ever picking up a book let alone reading one.

And not to gloat, but I'll gladly compare all the books I've read with Mz Behar's library.

I haven’t read the whole thread — just the headline and the first couple of posts -— and wondered just who cares about what Behar says. The only way she makes news is to make outrageous statements. She is a nothing.
