The Revolution is coming
World Net Daily ^ | 12-23-09 | Craig Smith

The battle that birthed our great nation was a battle well worth waging. Our founders declared that "taxation without representation" was unacceptable. So much so that men risked fortune, injury and even life in fighting a revolutionary war to break free from tyranny.

Two-hundred thirty five years later, our nation finds itself facing a new tyranny – legislation without representation. Are there Americans willing to fight this time to break free again?

Regardless of which poll one reads, the majority of Americans are clearly opposed to the health-care bill in its current form. As few as 52 percent and as many as 70 perent of Americans have said "no." Yet 220 representatives in the House and now 60 representatives in the Senate have voted "yes."

Is that what this group of politicians deems "representative" of the will of the people?

If so, I am thoroughly convinced we have all the elements in place to spark the second American Revolution – a war that must be fought for the principles of a government "of the people, by the people and for the people."

“I’m all for throwing these bums out at the ballot box.”

They couldn’t care less. They’ll get their millions, and you will just vote in the next set of rich players to get the next millions.

It is time to stop the revolving door of corruption!

A lot of people can't make the trip to D.C. but I bet a lot could make it to their individual state capitols.

Let them know we mean business. Organize peaceful but armed citizen protests at state capitols all across the country simultaneously. People have been preparing, stocking up on weapons and ammo... they're ready, imo. Take the gloves off, put the fear of God into these so-called representatives.

It’s up to the people of the states to strip the Fed of its abusive power.

Not all out there are as well informed as we are.

In addition to being life-long Democrats (hey! My Mom and Dad voted that way - why shouldn't I?), most of these people don't even think of politics, save for the 30 seconds most spend in a voting booth.

Compounding that fact is that the media pushed (ohhh, how they pushed!) a man who nobody - not even us - knew anything about. We literally elected a man with no visible past! Astounding!

As I stated earlier, we owe the educational establishment a thing or three for the efforts they exerted on our young. This damage done was incalculable to both our country and our future. Any change that results from whatever actions we can exert to influence future events will have to include demolition of this educational establishment, and replacement with something that works, and will hopefully be immune to manipulation and inner conquest as the current one has been.

Given that, WE know what income redistribution is, and it's consequences. The average Joe in the street most likely doesn't, and if he thought about it at all probably deemed it a good thing.

This is what we're up against - ignorance in multiple manifest forms, and like Hydra, it's extinction will require the smarts, patience and strength of a modern-day Jason.

I wish you and yours the Merriest of Christmases! Enjoy the day tomorrow - Saturday we can all resume this!

CA....

Later on, I got to thinking about the ‘settling accounts’ scene in the Children of Dune miniseries. Imana Nushif...

Yeah - that’s the ticket.

We lost that battle when we lost control of the terms of debate:

The great misfortune of the twentieth Century is to have been the one in which the ideal of liberty was harnessed to the service of tyranny, the ideal of equality to the service of privilege, and all the aspirations and social forces included under the label of the "Left" enrolled in the service of impoverishment and enslavement. This immense imposture has falsified most of this century, partly through the faults of some of its greatest intellectuals. It has corrupted the language and action of politics down to tiny details of vocabulary, it has inverted the sense of morality and enthroned falsehood in the very center of human thought.”

The Flight From Truth: The Reign of Deceit in the Age of Information
1991, Random House Jean Francois-Revel

The Left will pay, and they will pay with their lives for they have made peaceful debate - and revolution impossible.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic, for which it stands. One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice, for all.

OK.

Do we actually have a "Republic"? Are we still "one nation"? Under God? Oh, please. God has been condemned and cast out of the public sphere. He "graces" us, but only by the barest manner. We're becoming more and more "Balkanized", not indivisible. As for liberty and justice.......look in your mirror and, with a straight face, say it's 100% true.

Revolt by the people, by any means necessary, may become a rallying cry for those who have stood as much as they can. Those in government sit on the throne, reading Marx and Mao, and use the Constitution for toilet tissue.

"The title is 180 degrees backwards. The purpose of a revolution is to overthrow a form of government. The socialists have been waging a revolution for decades against our Constitutional government. We are trying to stop the revolution by upholding the Constitution."

"Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but only those specifically enumerated." --Thomas Jefferson

"To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical." --Thomas Jefferson: Statute of Religious Freedom, 1779

"No free man shall ever be de-barred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain their right to keep and bear arms is as a last resort to protect themselves against tyranny in government." - Thomas Jefferson

... I think that about sums it up.

I would rather have the left start the fight. The left promotes violence more often than not, which is odd since most are pussies who cant stomach eating a hamburger because a cow died to make it.

This USA I grew up loving does not even feel like it exists any more. We can get as puffed up and vitriolic about going into DC and physically removing the vermin as can be.... but, the realism of the situation is that we would probably just die trying.

Are we willing to die? For Freedom? Die for a reboot of this nations central government?

An effort to do this would take overwhelming numbers and would be disorganized mayhem.

Then, when the vermin lie in a burning pile of bodies.... What next? Special election? Anarchy? Military Takeover to reorganize?

We have try to let the elective process work. But, the "representatives" need to know what we are seriously considering.

I would like to take a part in another march on Washington but, this time with a sidearm just in case we are ignored again.

We should not leave until we get their attention. The GOP needs to pay attention, they need to realize that they need to start the Federal governments over stepping onto our freedom needs to be rolled back.

It needs to be rolled way back further than what they seem to be able to comprehend right now.

They need to cut up their damn credit cards and pay off the balance. We need to stop paying the bill.
