The name is Boyle, Susan Boyle.
The Scottish star seems set to sing in the next James Bond movie, joining Sean Connery another famous Scottish star, to leave their mark on the James Bond franchise.
The producers of the new, as yet-unnamed Bond film, have approached Boyle to sing the title tune of the new movie, the 23rd Bond production, which is expected to be released in 2011.

Well she seems like a lady who owns alot of cats . . . so perhaps she can reprise Honor Blackman’s role from Goldfinger.

As long as she's not a Bond girl.
She would be almost as hideous as Grace Jones in 'A View to a Kill.'

Has there even been a decent Bond theme since “Live and Let Die” or, maybe, “the Spy Who Loved Me?”

Susan Boyle = Pat Buchanan in drag.
I really, really would like to see American Idol, and all of its across the pond relatives, disappear. Nothing but overproduced pap.

What the hell. Boyle, fine, we endure the title song for a couple minutes altogether. But Connery? What is he, about 85 by now? What’s he going to possibly accomplish as Bond James Bond this time around? Will his walker have an ejection seat?

Phooey. That’s Roger Moore. Pussiest. Bond. Ever. Couldn’t stand a moment of him on the screen. Connery: Definitive Bond. Lazenby: Bond on Novacaine. Timothy Dalton: Remarkable fidelity to the books, my personal favorite. Brosnan: Metrosexual Bond. Daniel Craig: Superb, really. Connery’s heir.
But Connery again? No, no, no.

I confess a soft spot for "Never Say Never Again," mostly because I adore Lani Hall.

Thats Roger Moore. Pussiest. Bond. Ever. Couldnt stand a moment of him on the screen."For Your Eyes Only" was a stab at redemption. Not too bad.
To: Behind Liberal Lines
Yes. The World is Not Enough by Garbage was one of the best. Aha’s Living Daylight was okay. You Know My Name in Casino Royale was good.
Oddly one of the best was the Nancy Sinatra one in Japan - You Only Live Twice.
Madonna song was one of the worst by far.

come on, she has a great voice, a little stange perhaps, but a hell of a voice!
To: RightOnTheLeftCoast
Why do you assume Connery would have the title role in the movie?
