'Resurgent' Washington Redskins, my ass. This 12th Man might live long enough to see another wild card appearance. It is so over.

I think the St. Louis Rams still have a shot.

Try Yahoo!'s Playoff app at Playoff Scenario. Work's neat.

My heart's with Farve, love to see a Chargers vs. Vikings Superbowl.

But it will probally be Colts vs. N.O.

The Jets had at least 9 chances to put the game away today. Just pathetic. Yet they’re STILL alive. AFC is loco.

Anyone interested in being on distribution for my Annual Fearless Predictions for NFL and MLB playoffs send me your email on a private reply (look me up on FR, I've been around awhile).

It is a fairly simple but interesting statistical analysis of playoff-team offense, defense, overall team strength, and predicted winners of each game including the Super Bowl and World Series. Been doing this since the 80's. Average over the years is about 60%. It’s just for fun and is fun to use while watching games of teams or match-ups you know little about. You get matchup information showing in the NFL playoffs for example, comparative passing and running strength on both sides of the ball helping you to know what to look for during the game and where the battles will be fought.

It’s on an excel file - I would post it but I don’t know how. If you send me your email you’ll be on distribution before the playoffs begin. The fun stuff, especially in the NFL playoffs, is figuring out the toughest pass/run, offense/defense matchups in the games.

Looks like the Steelers still have a chance to make it in — they have to win out (of course), but if they do, it’s looking like about a 50/50 chance of getting the help they need.

Still, I like Indy/NO in the Super Bowl. The Colts just simply manage to be able to win, no matter what, and the Saints, I think, will start playing better again now they no longer have the “undefeated” tag to contend with (the Colts have more experience with winning, and are handling it better, IMO).
