Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.
She was 32.
A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

I was just reading up on her. Apparently she wasd fired from her most recent project and a month ago her husband was rushed to the hospital from an airplane in Puerto Rica. Unresponsive and not breating. They claimed it was an asthma attack, Very strange.
The only reason I know this is because SNL just made fun of her either last week, or the week prior, but she's been having some personal problems of late. She just got fired from her last movie for undisclosed personal reasons.
This could have been a quick death spiral, ala Heath Ledger - or of course, it could have been entirely unrelated and just a congenital heart defect.
Ohhh! THAT’S what she was.
Starvation. But from looking at the pic, something seems obviously wrong with that gal. Her color is off, like she has a liver problem, something...
She was in the movie “Uptown Girls” with Dakota Fanning and “Little Black Book” along with numerous other movies. She was also going to be in 4 additional movies next year. Very sad

Oh I did not know that. Smells like either a drug overdose or anorexia..either way its a shame
I’m thinking anorexia — several other young female celebs need to sit up and take notice — you can’t go on abusing your body the way they do, drugs or no drugs. These eating disorders can be killers.

I only know her from three movies - one with Alicia Silverstone that my kids watched, name escapes me. The other was with Eminem called "8 Mile" and the third was with Michael Douglas - it's the one where she's his kidnapped daughter (I think) who keeps saying "I'll never Tell" - that title eludes me as well.
I’ve often taken my good health for granted. This gives me pause.
She was discovered in the movie “Clueless” and had a good series of goofball comedies to her credit. Very sad, a talented actress with what appeared to be a long career ahead of her.
My condolences. Was she a famous person?
Complications from an eating disorder, likely anorexia, I’m guessing.
I don’t but my Mom does..she still remembers her songs. Either anorexia or drugs. One of the two, heck a combo of both will kill you even faster
