First, from Norway
Vøringsfossen
Click 'em for full-size.
This next one's not big or great, but it shows where the hotel is.
Also small, but a good view of the base of the falls. Something tells me it is NOT easy to get down there.
Second, from the border of Vietnam and China:
Detian/Ban Gioc. Click both for full-size.
Mayon, as promised, is underway, with potential for ramp-up; evacuations have taken place but some people aren't leaving
Bezymianny in Kamchatka has a reported eruption;
Soufriere Hills (Montserrat) has renewed activity, making things miserable for the remaining locals;
Piton de la Fournaise (La Reunion) had a short eruption on the summit crater rim; there's a really neat time-lapse video here:
And finally, I did post on this before, but here's a high-resolution video (even looks good on YouTube) of the West Mata undersea eruption:

Beautiful cogiator.
The geography of the border between Vietnam and China is amazing. What force caused the “mounds”? (only way i could think of describing it)
It’s karst; eroded limestone. The karst hills probably have a bit of a resistant capstone.
Thank you.
I just took some pics of the devils churn bowl on my oregon coast respite
Drive today
Nothing compares to your pick
This is my first time ever freepin away from home
I am having a free fancy dinner lol in the free hotel.
Last customer so very quiet.
From my said I would never get one Blackberry.
Nice pics to go with a nice dinner out on my own.
Check out Snoqualmie Falls and Salish Lodge in Washington. Stayed there one night... cost me almost $500.
These are beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing them and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Lovely! would you add me to your ping list please?
