My wife was listening to Glenn Beck’s radio program, this morning. She informs me that Glenn Beck says that the White House called his “red phone” yesterday at the end of his FOX News TV show.
Evidently, the White House was upset that Glenn Beck interviewed Michael Goldfarb, author of the Offutt AFB closure threat report. In the interview, Goldfarb stood by his report. Glenn Beck, prefacing the story as a rumor, also stated that he confirmed this story with three sources. But, the White House vociferously denies the story.
Yup, if the White House called Glenn Beck on a minor story about an AFB closure, then that means they are actively watching Glenn Beck and trying to catch him disseminating false information. So, what has the White House NOT called Glenn Beck on? EVERYTHING ELSE!

I’d believe Beck and his sources long before I’d beieve any of those thieving Commie gangsters at the White House.
Absolutely false, sorry Beck. I know you try to build ratings, but Obama wouldn’t call you, end of story. The only person so far worthy of full name-calling recognition has been Rush, and Beck, you ain’t Rush.
Glenn ended his TV show on Wednesday evening with the statement that the WH called - he had the phone in his hand and that was the end of his show - but not before he said he’d tell us about it on tonight’s (Thursday) show. I think we’re all curious and I will watch him but then I always do.
Glenn knows that the White House is watching. What incentive would he have to spread false rumors?
The White House denies vociferously. I’ll bet. Lying, cheating and being dishonest comes naturally to the Chicago thugs.
Beck has certainly done an awesome job this year.

I personally believe Beck’s guest, who claims 3 separate sources. In the end, it’s all “he said, he said” anyway.
I don’t think they called him. He was holding a paper in his hand so I think they must have emailed him. It was at the very end of his show he said their response was outrageous and that he would have to tell us tomorrow because he was out of time.
Oh, please. We’re talking the most thin-skinned administration ever. And Beck has been breathing down their necks this year.

If the WH called Beck it probably went something like this:
Please stop criticizing us. (sniff) Pretty please. (boo hoo) Pretty please with sugar on it. (sob) Could you use some cash from the tarp or stimulus package to make you stop? How would you feel about being investigated by the IRS for back taxes? What will it take to get you on our (dark) side of the Force?

I’m saying I don’t believe him. I don’t need any evidence, and I don’t need to prove it. He says he talked to the White House, it’s on HIM to prove it, not me. We’ll see soon enough if I’m wrong, but his announcement has all the trappings of a “teaser” to get you to watch the next day.

Beck did not say Obama called, he said "The White House" called. Probably some WH press flunky.
True enough, except for the “minor” story thing. Beck pitched it as compromising national security...no small matter.
