My wife was listening to Glenn Beck’s radio program, this morning. She informs me that Glenn Beck says that the White House called his “red phone” yesterday at the end of his FOX News TV show.
Evidently, the White House was upset that Glenn Beck interviewed Michael Goldfarb, author of the Offutt AFB closure threat report. In the interview, Goldfarb stood by his report. Glenn Beck, prefacing the story as a rumor, also stated that he confirmed this story with three sources. But, the White House vociferously denies the story.
Beck, however, can produce a phone record. But he won’t.
Um...he just got the call last night and hasn’t even talked about it yet. Give the man some times to “produce evidence” of this call you are so desperate to not believe.
And IMO, you sound more like a quack than Beck ever could.
Rush has had at least 3 wives, and several relationships. He seems to be a serial womanizer to me. I can't respect a man that changes women like some men change cars.
About the tv show, I guess we will have to agree to disagree, because I think he was specifically targeting women. You really need to see the show before you can make a fair judgement.

It’s actually a simile, not a metaphor. That aside, I can’t watch Beck - I found his radio show unlistenable, and his TV show unwatchable, but it’s the only thing on besides ESPN in the cardio theater.

Beck rocks. Of all the radio hosts to run for president, Beck is last on my list. He is clearly in his element [while I think that Hannity is painfully overqualified for talk radio and would be a top notch president].
Beck has every bit as much substance as I do - you know the two of us equally well. I’m hardly delusional. Beck wrote a book? I wrote a blog. We both wrote stuff. Yay.

There is a little more to it than that. He recited a litany of other similar incidents that were political strong arming but the air base incident was described as treason. Treason is punishable by death.
The stakes were raised considerably
He never said it was a phone call. He was reading from something in his hand. I thought it was a piece of paper. Looking at the clip that someone was kind enough to post I see now it was a Blackberry. He definitely never said Obama called him. He said he had gotten a response from the White House on the story he just did and that it was outrageous.
That was so many years ago. All I remember is they were trying to use a fire hose and it was jerking them around. They were small sized women. It kind of looked like some sort of newbie hazing to me. Rush seemed to think it was hilarious.
I’m actually better than Beck on a lot of fronts - I’m still married and faithful, never drank myself into a drooling pile of blubber, and never had to go to rehab. If you think it’s absurd to consider listening to me, THATS”S MY POINT. It’s equally absurd when it’s Beck.

You have these women that think they can get a job that they are under-qualified for ( and don't REALIZE it...)....and they totally FAIL at it.

Obama has called out Hannity by name...and he REALLY ain't no Rush.
Remeber the fire hose scene in ROXANNE? Was it anything like that? That was a pretty funny scene as I recall.
I can't listen much....he jags into too much silly stuff for me.
But that said....he's also done some pretty good reporting.....Some that you won't find elsewhere....
