(hope I've covered all bases!!)
Thank you!!!
Try clicking on another state and see if you get the messages there. And then after that, change it back to your original state...
See if that does it...

ou forgot about rabbits and pancakes, and the moose eating your sister.
....Bob
Alt-F4 locks the state.
Do you like cheese? ;0)
Well darn, you took all of the fun out of it for us jokesters.
Wait... are you sure this isn’t a mix up over a hanging chad, dimpled chad or pregnant chad?
Can someone tell me how to find my bookmarks? Are they called bookmarks? I haven’t been able to get to them in a year.....
Are messages even being posted? Maybe no one’s conversing, but you probably already thought of that.
Things could actually be a lot worse. In my case, the Texas message board is constantly updating hourly back and forths between only a handful of members. And right now, the TX board subscribers are suffering through the latest bicker-fest.
Does it have anything to do with your triple post on another thread today?
Have you seen Deb’s green sweater??
My sister doesn’t get state messages. She doesn’t really care. She was bitten by a moose.
Empty the temporary files for your web browser.
In firefox its under tools/clear recent history
Don’t know where it is in IE as I don’t use it and have uninstalled it.
With dynamic content like forums and such the temporary files sometimes get stuck.
You could also go to the page then hold down the shift key while clicking the refresh button and see if that works - that forces an update.
Probably your cache though.
If you will hold, please, I will ping some Indian FReepers for you.

Wait, don't all your bases belong to us...
Not sure, but I have noticed that on the rare occasion that I actually log out, when I log back in, I got my “Local Messages” at the top where I had selected them to be displayed.
Like I said, I rarely log off, I usually just close my browser. That’s why I disabled notification. Now, I have a bookmark just for the Local board. It’s actually better to have two tabs, side by side, for me. I can flip back and forth without losing my place on the big board.
