Barkley: Tiger changed phone number after accident

NEW YORK (AP) — NBA great Charles Barkley says Tiger Woods changed his cell phone number the day after his car accident and is not talking to some of his famous friends.

On a show that airs on Sunday on news network HLN, Barkley and filmmaker Spike Lee worry that Woods isn't taking advantage of the invaluable advice that can only be offered by friends who are used to the spotlight.

You should reach out to your celebrity friends when things go bad," Barkley told The Associated Press in a phone interview on Tuesday. "They're the only people who understand what it's like."

Barkley appears on "With All Due Respect" with two other Turner Sports analysts, baseball Hall of Famer Dennis Eckersley and longtime NASCAR driver Kyle Petty. Lee is one of the guests in the one-hour special during which the sports stars discuss a variety of topics.

"He's insulated," Lee said during the taping for the show. "If Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan can't get to him, and those are his boys, then other people are making bad moves."

If true, it's the first smart thing Woods has done since this story broke. Barkley and Jordan are both serial philanderers, and Barkley has his own recent DUI to contend with. These are the LAST guys Woods should be taking advice from.

If he wanted to reach out to some famous people to give him some moral guidance, I would suggest names like Tony Dungy, Herm Edwards, Joe Gibbs or Johnny Miller. I suspect Woods needs the advice they'd give, but it's also the advice he's least inclined to listen to.

If Charles Barkley had my phone number, I’d have it changed too.

Tiger reaches out to friends, but he reaches with his extended member.

I wonder if Tiger was in Barkley's "Fave Five"?

With friends like Barkley, Jordan, and assorted other dirtbags, Tiger doesn’t need enemies.

At least Tiger cut these scum out of his life. Let’s hope it stays that way.

Ring...Ring...Ring

Tiger: Hello
Barkley: Hey, Man, it’s me, Charles.
Tiger: Hey, Man.
Barkley: Just wanted to let you know, I’m here for you, Man. Anything I can do to help you or your family, just say the word.
Tiger: Thanks, Man. I appreciate it.
Barkley: So, you wanna meet me in Vegas? I got this chick I want you to meet.

That DUI that Charles had, happened when he ran a stop sign and told the cop that the female he had in the car gives the best BJ’s and that’s why he was in a hurry.

As far as I know, Charles is still married. He still has his house in Scottsdale and his kid goes to an Arizona University.

"...filmmaker Spike Lee worry that Woods isn't taking advantage of the invaluable advice..."

Yeah, because hostile black racists like Spike Lee are sooooooooo "invaluable" to society.

Tiger Woods, Barack Obama, OJ Simpson and Spike Lee walk into a bar...

Ring...Ring...Ring Woods: Hello

Spike Lee: Hey, Man, it’s me, Spike, wazzup?

Woods: Hey, Man.

Spike Lee: Just wanted to let you know, I’m here for you, Man. Anything I can do to help you get even with those white devils, just say the word.

Woods: Thanks, Man. I appreciate it.

Spike Lee: So, you wanna meet me in Vegas? I got this chick I want you to meet, and she doesn't like all those racist white people.

Wasn’t it Barkley and Jordan who introduce him to this lifestyle?

Spike Lee isn't a nasty racist!

It's all the white devils and their plot to get black people that is the real cause of racism.

I have no idea, nor do I really care at this point. Woods has supposedly been having sex with 10-14 different women while his wife was home pregnant, and he is also connected to a doctor that is known to push blood-doping, steroids and other illegal acts.

The fact that Spike Lee and Tiger Woods are in the same sentence together is enough to make me sick.

Let them enjoy each other's company.

OJ: Hey, Man, it’s me, Juice, wazzup?

Woods: Hey, Man.

OJ: Just wanted to let you know, I’m here for you, Man. Anything I can do to help you take care of those blonde women, just let me know. I can show you how to cut them out of your life.

Woods: Thanks, Man. I appreciate it.

OJ: So, you wanna meet me in Vegas? I heard theres some people trying to sell some of my paraphanalia and I'm gonna put a stop to that.

Tiger needs to accept Christ, get some serious christian counselling and retreat from the phony media world and get his personal life and marriage back together.

I seem to remember Tiger saying in an interview that he was a Buddhist. With his Asian mom, I'm not surprised. Prolly how he was brought up.
