Meet The Hustlers Of Tiger Woods And Co
Rachel Uchitel, the woman who triggered the Tiger Woods scandal, works in nightclub VIP. How do these party queens operate?

In all the hoo-ha surrounding the Tiger Woods debacle (could that nice man really have done the dirty? Did that nice wife actually wield a golf club?), there is one figure that emerges as the most intriguing and its neither of the Woodses. Enter the glamorous Rachel Uchitel. It was her alleged (and denied) affair with Woods that triggered this years biggest sporting sex scandal.
Portrayed variously as a party girl, hostess, even a professional flirt, Uchitel is director of VIP services for a number of exclusive American nightspots one of an elite band of women the worlds movers and shakers have on speed dial when theyre after a big night out.
She looks after you; shes your best friend, says Nick House, the London nightclub entrepreneur, who co-owns Whisky Mist and Mahiki, among others. He first met Uchitel about six months ago at Griffin, the New York club where she works, and where she allegedly met Woods. She will text you the next day to see if you had a good night.
They are operators, these people. And, in football terms, shes a Ronaldo. Shes a superstar. Shes got a black book that the Forbes 100 would be proud of.
According to Amy Sacco, owner of Bungalow 8 and doyenne of the nightclub scene on both sides of the Atlantic, Uchitels type is thriving. Everyone hires hosts these days. They spend their time making connections. Theyre asked to bring in 20 new contacts a day.
And how do they do it? Its like if you were a salesperson at Gucci .................

An interesting article from a world I couldn’t imagine existed.
My favorite quote: “I know people who own huge corporations. If they want to go out and theyre not particularly cool, but theyve got the money, at the end of their trip, theyll send me a big gift or a nice bit of money...”
Wow! talk about being a loser. Having to pay people to pretend to be your friends!
So like we all thought, they are all pimps or prostitutes.
So like we all thought, they are all pimps or prostitutes.
Interesting. A whole type of business that I had no idea existed.
But how sad, too, that so many people don’t have any real relationships. (Not that many out of the whole population, of course, but enough to fuel this industry.) Tiger Woods, of course, had a wife and children, and could have had a real life.
According to the article some of them hostess’s are making over $150k/year in Vegas.
I met several women like this back in 1975 in New Orleans. They told me what they did and how much money was in it for them. They traveled all over the US and made good money. They were nice as friends but I wouldn’t get emotionally involved with them. Their customers were politicians, lawyers, and several high ranking military men. Their life was something I had read about and seen Hollywood make movies about but didn’t believe it was true till’ I met them. The only one I still know and how she’s doing is the President of a bank in NJ.
Didn’t they use to call the employee whose job was persuading people to go into a bar “a shill”?
And what exactly IS a good night at a VIP club? A wild hookup with a stranger, rutting like 2 squirrels? Is THAT the ultimate night at a club? Whoop dee bleeping doo. Any pair of rodents can do the same.
Get drunk and listen to loud music while shouting at people who can’t hear you, and they don’t know you and don’t care what you’re saying anyway? That’s what the “club scene” looks like on television.
