Not buying the “family” bit. He and his handlers are figuring out a way to rehab Tiger’s public personna, otherwise, their money dries up. He’s a serial womanizer and I don’t believe that’s gonna change.

Nail on the head!

Here's a video of Herm Edwards talking about it, and he doesn't pull any punches. It's about 10 minutes, but it's worth the look...

“He is a POS.”

Couldn’t have said it better myself. I never did like the guy nor do I want someone who is morally bankrupt to break the Golden Bear’s record. You’d never see Arnie or Jack in this situation, that’s for sure.

IMO, he doesn’t deserve a 2nd chance.

Well, I disagree. We ALL deserve a second chance, otherwise we would all end up in hell and heaven would be a very lonely place indeed.

Repairing a relationship is different for people in the public eye. Every tourney he misses will cause the whole mess to be discussed on TV again, which will be 4 days they can’t turn on a TV without the things they’ve put in the past regurgitating to the present. He needs to play in the first available tourney and end the TV discussion, or make sure Elin doesn’t wind up in front a TV until further notice.

I’ve heard they were also loading large boxes into a truck at his house here at Isleworth today. He’s probably going on the yacht and Elin is probably going to the new house in Sweden. I doubt if they will both be staying on the yacht..no matter how large it is, that would be too close quarters...one of them would probably end up overboard.

Hey, it's not like Tiger made a mistake, as in a singular mistake. Or, that he fell in love with someone else - not really excusable, but it does happen, quite a bit actually. Tiger engaged in what could only be described as an enterprise for adultry, involving flying women around the world to service him, showering "party girls" with gifts and hotel rooms, and engaging the services of "professional women", and at times engaging in unprotected sex. All of this was going on when his dutiful wife was busy bearing and raising two children - literally at the same time.

I don't know anyone who lives in that kind of house, glass or otherwise.

This was not one time, two times, 10 times. But transgressions over 5 years.

These were not women he thought he “loved” [like Mark Sanford] but multitudes of porn stars, escort service women, whores. His wasn’t a a simple lapse.

OK I'll take a stab at the question.

Because he is a human being just like me and you and not a pig.

Does that answer the question?

Oh, I agree, don’t get me wrong. Of all the things he needs to fix, the marriage is the one thing that will defy the odds. What he did to his wife is terrible, and if she doesn’t leave him, she’ll probably endure more grief than if she leaves. But, we should all at this point wish them our best, and leave it at that. Give it a few weeks, and all the sponsors will have bailed, probably even Nike too. Tiger, he’ll pay the price for this...

I understand your point. But remember he is a human and RICH. That IS an different world he lives in. I believe in redemption no matter what the sin is. I say we give him the space he needs to redeem himself.

I suggest you read the story of the life of St. Augustine. You may be surprised.

It’s not that Tiger doesn’t deserve a second chance, he does. It’s that Elin and her children deserve so much better. She would be better without him.
