A 56-year-old woman prayed to God while a "crazed" man tried to break in to her home, telling a 9-1-1 dispatcher, "I don't want to have to kill this man, but I'll kill him graveyard dead" and within minutes, she blasted the relentless intruder in the chest with her shotgun.kson was defending herself."

You hear something?
Gong till later
Yes. That’s what I was assuming. I lived in very rural counties that had only one deputy or two deputies on duty. They could be clear across the county when you may need them in a matter of seconds.
“A 56-year-old woman prayed to God while a “crazed” man tried to break in to her home, telling a 9-1-1 dispatcher, “I don’t want to have to kill this man, but I’ll kill him graveyard dead” and within minutes, she blasted the relentless intruder in the chest with her shotgun.”
Sounds like my mom.
“Listening to this I feel so sorry for that lady.”
Yeah, true...I don’t know what else she could have done though...
Jinjo Judge: But we must verify it legally To see
Jingaling: To see
Judge: If she
Jingaling: If she
Judge: Is absolutely, positively
Jinjo 4: Physically, mentally
Jinjo 5: Finally, lastly,
Jinjos: Assuredly, definitely dead!
Coroner: As coroner, I studied her and thoroughly examined her And shes not only merely dead Shes really most sincerely dead
He’s dead, Jim....
“Also, going to the door and talking to the man could have provoked an attack. She could have been hoping that after a couple of min the guy would have just left and tried a different house.”
Probly not a bullet proof door on the house, either...talking to him could have been giving him a target...
What really struck me was the dispatcher saying things like, You have to protect yourself.
In my state it would be something like, OK, hide the gun, you don’t want him to grab it in a struggle, you don’t want to be holding it when the police get there, get in a room with a window and lock the door..
Giving him a warning gives him a chance to shoot first.
Paraphrasing the Coroner in the Wizard of Oz, “He’s not only merely dead, he’s really most sincerely dead.”
If they are anything like mine, they have a distinct bark. A critter would get just a courious yapping bark while an intruding stranger would get a snarling growling bark.
I felt so bad for her, too. It was clear she didn’t want to do it but there were no other options.
The idiot libs think that gun owners are looking for any excuse to open fire
You have a gun?!?! WHY!?!?!?
she was watching him she saw him no mention of a weapon other than the plastic patio/porch chair
You never know what someone has hidden on their person. Anyone crazy enough to break down a patio door is up to no good.
OK........”drunk and old....”
There’s also deader than a door nail dead. But not dead man walking dead.
You think drunk and old+breaking out the patio door = no concealed weapons?
Have you spent much time in Indiana?
