Two cool iPhone apps: one you want, one you need"Cool" has become such an overused, generic word. Everything seems to be labeled "cool" nowadays. It's like calling everything amazing or beautiful. It really starts to lose its true meaning after awhile so that when something really is amazing or beautiful, nobody pays much attention because they've heard those words used way too often.

The Dragon Dictation, is (as you say) free, but only for a while. So, try it out now to see how it works for it. I think it’s fantastic. I just got it yesterday and tried it. the accuracy is great.
I don’t have the other one, but it’s a good idea if AT&T will use all the reports from users to correct things.

What does the staff of Rush Limbaugh use to convert phone calls to text so Rush can see what the caller is saying when his Cochlear Implant doesn’t pickup the audio? I think I heard him say it was a Court Recorder?

I haven’t tried a voice to text recognition program in years. It was starting to work OK last time, but not ready for prime time. I’ll try it on the iPhone, where it only has to complete with that awful touchscreen keypad and not my real keyboard. With the technology is better and the competing keyboard worse, it could be very useful. Thanks for the heads up. Is there an app to tell me which apps I would like? ;)

i like the "no coverage" option. "I get absolutely NO COVERAGE right here"...then hitting 'send'...and waiting and waiting and waiting.
