Sorry for the vanity but had to brag that my son was accepted to Hillsdale College today! It was recommended on this forum so I thought I would give him a shout out here. Congratulations Hayden!
Wow! This is wonderful news. I get the Hillsdale newsletter and it always has the best transcripts from speeches given at the college. Your son will be blessed to hear from such accomplished people.
Wonderful! I have talked to my Grandson about it. Right now he is still thinking Military Career and an Academy...7th grade, so there is time.
Please sneak in another VANITY next year and tell us his progress.

Good for him, one of the best in the country, but I hear its expensive. No government involvement of any kind....The only problem is that its here in Michigan,(I think) a state with crappy weather and lots of democrats....
Both of my daughters went to Hillsdale and they have turned out great. Hope my son can get in also.

Just curious though. What other schools did your son apply to or consider?
A few years ago, I met a bunch of young Hillsdale alumni during a Hillsdale event in San Francisco. Harvard students rarely impress me. Hillsdale students always do.

My son went to Hillsdale. He played football there. Well he sat on the bench.LOL You have a fine program and a fine football coach. He lights up a cigar after a win and on the field. This year he lit one up at home beating Grand Valley who had not lost a game since 2007 and has won 2 or 3 national championships. Son now teaches Social Studies the RIGHT way. You will love it. Watch out for the deer at night. There are plenty. Go Chargers. Any Questions, I am here.
My niece went to Hillsdale. A fine school.
