"I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves."
Tiger Woods, allegedly caught cheating on his wife, just posted an apology on his Web site.
Bonus: See who forced Tiger Woods to confess.
We think it's good enough to keep him in Nikes for years:
I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.
Although I am a well-known person and have made my career as a professional athlete, I have been dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means. For the last week, my family and I have been hounded to expose intimate details of our personal lives. The stories in particular that physical violence played any role in the car accident were utterly false and malicious. Elin has always done more to support our family and shown more grace than anyone could possibly expect.

He has been having sex with multiple women over several years.
Any wife who would take such a d-bag back into her house has no self-esteem.
The roof should come crashing down on his head.
It's the only way he will ever learn.
My guess is those that knew about this have known so for a while.
Who are they politically connected too? What did he do to piss off @ the DNC and/or Comrade Zero? Is he a closet Republican even if he is a RINO?
Great way to redistribute wealth via Attorneys and we know how they vote. Remember this whole administration is about destroying assets and tangentially people, especially those not in support of their directives. Why not take out the most successful African American and the head of GM on approx. the same day, you have to be diminished in the rulers eyes.....
I know this sounds conspiratorial, but with this administration, how can you not watch what the left hand is doing while they are doing something else with the right, nothing anymore is a coincidence...
I only saw two of them, but they ain't nowhere near "unimaginably hot."
I have no sympathy for him. He chose to get married, probably because it made him even more marketable, with the pretty wife, cute babies, and pretend perfect family life. These days, he could slut around with as many women as he wanted, and while I wouldn't respect that, at least he wouldn't be slapping a wife and small children in the face, forever.
I have no respect for people who cheat. It's taking the person you claimed to love more than any other and pissing on them. Get a damn divorce first.
They shouldn't be exposed to his sin, and should instead be separated from it.
Woods is only sorry because he got caught.
He would have continued his behavior to the end of time had he not gotten caught by his wife.
You and me both...a bunch of holier than thou here on FR are having a feast on this bit of news.....while our country goes to hell in a hat basket all they can do is worry about Tiger's personal life. Truth of the matter a bunch of the men are just jealous as they come home from dead end jobs to bitchy overweight wives....or they are retired and need to get a life!
In fairness, he was a child prodigy/celebrity.
I wonder how I would handle that pressure, and the simple fact is that very few of us will ever be in a position to know.
Apparently it was more than one and over a long period of time. People do things they think they can get away with. Eventually they get caught.
There are role models and then there are role models.
One has to discriminate. One must choose. And if you choose wrong, you lose.
People who should not be role models: OJ Simpson, Tonya Harding, Bill Clinton, Sean Penn, Jane Fonda, Barbra Streisand, Michael Moore, Al Gore just to name a few...
I would agree most and there is the double standard

My point is to all those here with all their hypocritical outrage!!
I am sure we have a lot of them serving overseas seeing other women when away from home, me including!!!
Tiger Woods to the usurper: “I have a valid BC, where is yours”???
Elin's been a good wife. She didn't deserve to be treated like this.
Unless, of course, she has been.....
And I thanked her for it by putting my dipstick in anyone who would let me.
It's particularly true of celebrities and athletes.
Most of the general public treats them like our royalty, and we shouldn't, because most of the time they aren't worthy of it.
Exactly what a pig and I see another third mistress is being reported.
He’s a spoiled brat, has been, with a PR machine to make him look perfect and the shine is off the apple. The guy launches into profanity laiden tyrades on the course and he gets a pass... He’s a brat who’s been surrounded by yes men his entire life.
Yes he’s a great golfer, but the promotion of him as near perfect in all ways is laughable.
I'll bet there's more of 'em, too.
So all those who find his adultery repugnant are adulterers? I don’t think so. Tiger is not facing being stoned to death for his transgressions, though he may wish he was when all is said and done.
Tiger’s a womanizer.. big suprise... he’s a spoiled brat, always has been... spent his entire surrounded by yes men and clingers on. He’s rich and famous and I’m sure has women throw themselves at him regularly... and he obviously doesn’t say no often when it happens.
