I live in the area near his Isleworth home and although I haven't witnessed it firsthand, I have heard many stories of his poor tipping. Not only at restaurants but also caddies, casino dealers, etc. There are some other stories about his behavior towards those "below" him and if true, your comment above sums him up perfectly.

Well I for one am relieved! Relieved I tell you! I am just glad SOMEBODY... Anybody... Was cited and fined! Thank God for that at least. Now I can sleep at night. From the very beginning every print story, as they always do in cases like this salivated at the prospect of somebody getting fined or cited. Wow, I hadn't heard that Tiger doesn't tip in restaurants. He is a JERK.

My guess is that Tiger has played golf all of his life and was groomed for the PGA tour and never worked a real job in his life. So he has no sympathy for waitresses and other types of help.

Or maybe he is just a selfish bastard. Look at what how he treats his wife and the mother of his kids by cheating on her. Tiger may be a champion golfer but he is a zero in my book.
