Why Does Every Thread (apparently) Start with an ant-Romney Ad? (a vanity post, but sincere)

Let me be clear: I don't like Romney. I wouldn't vote for Romney. I hope he never runs for President, and if he tries, I hope he never gets the nomination. In other words -- I don't like Romney!

However, -- I am tired of having to scroll past an anti-Romney ad as the #1 entry on every article lately.

Why does every post start with an anti-Romney ad? As far as I know, he isn't even running for anything right now.

In fact, why should every article begin with an anti-Anyone ad?

I've always considered most Freepers to be very objective and fair-minded.

Has FreeRepublic turned into a one-trick pony? (DestroyRomneyDestroyRomneyDestroyRomney...etc.)

It has become quite tiresome. Could someone please tell me why FreeRepublic is doing this?

Romney is a RINO (as with The Huckster). The Huckster is also clearly a JUANnabie (Romney likely also). If you are against Romney, why is it so difficult to go against The Huckster? Mormon hate is all that I can conclude.

Am I glad the thing with the cop killer ruined his political career? Yes. Although I am saddened for the family of teh people who lost their lives.

Yes, it is overkill and that’s the problem. It’s like seeing Obama on tv all the time even in those stupid NFL commercials where he looks like the world’s biggest dork.

In time it has the reverse effect that one either doesn’t notice it at all or gets irritated with constantly having the scroll past it.

I think it is actually helping Romney. Most people like to think for themselves. Trying to jam an anti Romney message down people's throats just gets people mad. The Palinistas are just as bad and they are hurting her cause.

I am a Palinista and I don't jam messages down people's throats. I would guess actually that this campaign is having no impact at all. RomneyCare will be looking worse by 2012. He will not be a successful candidate.

Personally, I am almost dead set against Palin, not because of her, but because of the strident yelling of her supporters.

I don't yell and I invite you to support the candidate of your choice.

This anti Romney crusade has pretty much persuaded me to contribute to Fiorina just because I'm mad.

Dingy Harry is a Mormon. As outlined above, I think a Mormon is unlikely to be elected POTUS in the near future due to (unfounded) fear of Mormonism from both the anti-religious Left and Fundamentalist Christians.
