I’d like to go one step farther and declare Alec a failure.
He’s great as an actor - it’s just his politics that stink...
Except for Glengarry Glen Ross he is right
He was good in “Hunt for Red October”, back before he decided his personal opinion was worth more than his ability to parrot someone else’s words.
Alec Balwin, while a complete liberal ass, is actually a damn good actor. Whether it’s drama or comedy, he can do it all.
Maybe he needs to try Climate Science.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
He was great in “Team America: World Police”!
hehe.
This is about the 10th time I’ve read that he may have ‘political ASSpirations.’
Lord, help us!
He is a fine actor, and no one makes me laugh harder than this jerk. But, really. Isn’t America paying a high enough ransom already with Al Franken? *SHIVER*
That one with the submarine.
Hey, now! The guy’s a left-wing weenie, but he’s a good actor.
Baldwin has expressed interest in politics in the past but did not say in the interview what he intended to do if he quit acting.
:::
Well, he started his political career when he publicly wished that Henry Hyde and his entire family would be killed for standing up to the crime and sleaze of Clinton, and the subsequent impeachment. Fits right in with the rising disregard for AMERICAN human life that is growing in the radical left. Remember this whole scenario ????
I, for once, disagree with Alec. He’s a moronic twit personally, but I really enjoy his movies.
Beetlejuice was an absolute commercial success and is now considered a classic. How is that a failure?
Granted, I keep wondering how Harrison Ford would've played each scene, but I like that film. Probably the best book to film adaption I've seen (from a book that I've actually read).
(The Shawshank Redemption is #1 for novella to film, but that's a topic for a different thread.)
It’s a scary world when Flagg agrees with Baldwin on something.
Maybe he can get on Air America as a talk show host.
I’m sure they’ll let him on the air, particularly if he makes a donation to their cause.
I thought he was great in “Cat In The Hat”.
I, for once, disagree with Alec. He’s a moronic twit personally, but I really enjoy his movies.
......
Whoa, wait, that didn’t come out right. I meant that I disagree with him for totally different reasons. Dang, time for bed.
He couldn’t even get a decent name. Good names like Alec Berg were apparently already taken....
Odd, though, that he should be so depressed so soon after the Democrats won control of the White House, Senate, and House.
I saw him on Turner Classic Movies the other night. Baldwin is really putting on the weight like he's preparing for a role in either a sumo wrestling flick or a documentary on steroid abuse. His clothes look about two sizes too small and his face looks like he's getting fat injections to the point that his eyes look really squinty. Somehow, I don't think it was the make up. Really big carbohydrate footprint.
