Not passing the smell test.

What were the injuries? The dog would have scared off an elk. Where was the dog found?

Hubby could have walked with her, killed her & left to establish an alibi.

Poor old curious elk may have just sniffed/licked at her body before hubby returned to “find her”.

I did not read the whole piece. Is the breed of dog mentioned? Maybe the dog was not very feisty. And maybe a drunken elk feels bullet- and dog-proof.

Oh, just one more question if you don’t mind sir. I’m sure there’s an innocent explanation but I’m just trying to get it straight in my mind. Why did you have a box of moose slobber in your trunk?

Stupid hunters get killed by white tail deer just about every season so why would an animal several times that large and a bit more aggressive, the case of a moose, not be able to kill a woman?

I have seen videos of a deer attacking a human and it is scary. They stand up on their hind legs and come down on the victims head with their hooves. A moose/elk is a much bigger animal than a deer and could inflict some terrible damage. The deer attack I saw was a buck deer attacking a human during the rut but I don’t know what set the animal off. Hormones I guess.
