Tiger Woods wife rescued him from the wreckage of a late night car crash by smashing a golf club through the window, police said.
Mrs Nordegren told police she was inside the couples house in a gated community in Orlando, Florida when she heard the accident and ran outside.
She grabbed a golf club and smashed the rear window of the black Cadillac Escalade to get to her husband.
Woods was on his own in the car and no other vehicles were involved. It was unclear where he had been intending to go at that early hour.
The accident happened on a day when unsubstantiated rumours about the golfers private life were circulating on the internet.

Oh he was unconcious from the impact alright...
The impact of the golf club.
AHAHAHAHAH...a turkey sand wedge...AHAHAHHAHAHAHAH
“Hmmm. golf club. window. angry wife......”
Time to dust off the prenup.
The kids are going to be expensive though.
I believe That Playing in ASIA for the Last 3 weeks he was jet Lagged! That Contributed to him being wide awake if he took the early afternoon nap!!
It Takes awhile to get back into a nice sleep rythum
Remind me not to buy one of those flimsy Escalades...if I ever have the money.
Now you know why they need OnStar.
I don’t believe for a minute she ‘rescued him by smashing a window.”
Just this week there is a big article in the Enquirer about him cheating on his wife. She chases him out the door with a golf club (”You want to go golfing? I’ll give you your gold club, alright!”) Smashes the window, and while he’s frantic to get away drives into a tree and hydrant.
Of course they’ll never admit it. But there was a blurb on fox that they were “argueing” immediately before the accident.
Uhhh....What club did she Use ?
How many strokes did it take ?
Hope all is well for all involved.
Ouch I better that made for some colorful screaming words.
Our Thanksgiving was going great then totally went south down to the dogs fighting over the left overs, my arm brushed the full container of Cranberry Juice and slpatterred everywhere, the quad kid got excited over the Holiday which causes him to get physically balistic which is a domino effect of events in itself and he asks me when re we going to go get the Christmas tree like he really needs more exciting things to think about and I got so stressed out with all the negative events I am now icing down my neck fighting off a rare borderline migraine.
But I am really glad I did not do what you did.
And what the Tiger and wife had to go through.
Most be some wierd energy out there.
I will Pray for divine intervention and a host of Angels to surround us.
I hate to buy into a stereotype, but I believe wholeheartedly that young, athletic (especially pro-athletes) billionaires ALL cheat, unless they have some deep, abiding religious convictions - which Tiger clearly doesn't.
The Oral Hirschisers and Tim Tebows of the world are the exceptions, not the rules. There's just WAY too much opportunity for them to always say no.
Most of the women they marry end up divorcing them (in some cases they deserved it, some not) and then soak them for millions of bucks. Just “rent a wife” and save the bucks, get a new one every 6-12 months.
When I had to break a car window to reach someone I loved in an emergency I chose the window farthest from her.
If he hit the hydrant and then the tree, I'd say he had lost control and/or was stunned.
Let's wait and see. He's pretty family oriented....unless he's unhappy and she's a bi***.
Our local news (PNW) is reporting that he hit a fire hydrant then ran into the nieghbors tree no booze but charges are pending.
Reckless driving?
Regardless Tiger had a bad day.
That she wanted to Play Through the twosome?
You can see the front on Bing maps. It's got a big circular driveway with a fountain in the center.
