Tiger Woods’ wife rescued him from the wreckage of a late night car crash by smashing a golf club through the window, police said.
Mrs Nordegren told police she was inside the couple’s house in a gated community in Orlando, Florida when she heard the accident and ran outside.
She grabbed a golf club and smashed the rear window of the black Cadillac Escalade to get to her husband.
Woods was on his own in the car and no other vehicles were involved. It was unclear where he had been intending to go at that early hour.
The accident happened on a day when unsubstantiated rumours about the golfer’s private life were circulating on the internet.

I thought only women got into this soap opera crap. I like Days of our lives. But that is fake and does not speculate on real people.

It crossed my mind that perhaps there is some truth to the old saying that Men tire of the same woman.
At least the old geezer from Playboy is honest about it.
Men with Money and fame make some woman very easy I suppose.
I thank God everyday that I was blessed with brains and not beauty. Life is so much simpler IMO as a single chaste human.
I know many couples that are miserable being married and very few who are happy together.
That saying that a happy marraige takes allot of work seems very true. Sad that isnt wisdom young people have when going into what is suppose to be a lifelong commitment.
Actually I was wondering how he suffered severe injuries backing into a tree, even at about 30 MPH you shouldn't get hurt that badly. My money is on the possibility she hit him BEFORE he got into the Caddy and hit the window when he tried to take off, I think his injury from the golf club is what caused him to wreck and also was the cause of him being taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
Just a theory but we will see how it plays out. I am thinking the reason it took so long for the "the mrs. saved Tiger" story to come out was they were trying to figure out how to spin it.
The moral of this story is: If you are going to cheat on your good looking wife with another good looking woman(or even an ugly one)lock up your golf clubs and other weapons(base ball bats, firearms, knives, etc.)before she finds out about it.
Sage advice. I can tell you that one of the things that's kept me from straying all these years is my wife's ninja-like ability to fillet a fish. I'm just not taking that chance.

These two crazy rich kids were arguing ‘bout something. Money? Not possible. Too much time on the golf course...no, as that is his job. Elin was tired from working her 12 nursing shift? Ahh...no.
Could they have been arguing about the ‘Enquirer’ article? Could be we have a winnah...and especially because this Rachel chick is NOTED for ‘relationships’ that human petri dish risk could have oushed the young mom of two over the edge (and into the sandtrap...explains why she was using the wedge.)

I think some of it has to do with the fear or disgust of possible "star treatment". I'd suggest that if you were to exit you home this morning at 0230, run over a fire hydrant and then destroy a tree in your neighbor's front yard, your local authorities wouldn't be so quick to dismiss alcohol has a factor in the "incident". Sober people don't behave that way - they just don't.
Or, as several have postulated, there's a reasonable chance that it was a domestic situation that hod turned ugly. And again, if this were a "normal" person, the police wouldn't come back to interview the suspect/victim after they've risen from their afternoon nap - it was reported that's what happened at the Wood's residence later this afternoon.
