See if you all can help me figure out how to understand the mind of a liberal.
These people have always thought of the Patriot Act as an intrusive measure put in place to protect us from a make-believe enemy and merely a way for our government to control us. Yet they lobby for congress to create “green” taxes, even “green” laws to stop something that people told them would kill us all.
They think the Homeland Security Advisor System is a fear tool. They ignore its meaning and ignore messages from Al-Qaida calling for our death. Some even go as far as saying the messages are fake and only used to stir up fear. Yet these same people buy the Global Warming Myth hook, line and sinker.
They compare God to the Easter Bunny, yet they are card carrying members of the Church of Al Gore and believe every word he says, kneeling at his feet and ignoring his monstrous wastefulness and lavish lifestyle.
They don’t believe Christ is real, yet spend thousands on squiggly light bulbs and carbon credits.
(Who has a large stake in these carbon credit profits?? Why, none other than the very man that preaches to them.... Al Gore)
Christ died for our sins = “MYTH”
SUVs kill polar bears = “Absolutely true. We need new taxes!”
Al-Qaida wants to kill us = “ignore the fear mongering”
Ice melts in summer time = “jail those who eat meat!”
I don’t get it.
You got it exactly right. I have never yet met a liberal who does not worship money. Yes, liberals are the biggest hypocrites on the planet. It is a character vice they have. That is one of the main reasons why I could never have a liberal as a friend. I cannot stand hypocrites.
It’s both ignorance and greed driving the man-made global warming scam. Lefties are from the left side of the Bell Curve, lack inborn logic, and never learned that the sun is a big ball of fire that warms our tiny earth. Also, lefties are greedy for other people’s earnings.
Politics for them is like your favorite team - no matter how good the other team, they suk and no matter how terrible their team, well, there's always an excuse.
But if you compare the AGW scam to terrorism I can come up with a very simple reason for their apparent conflict:
When you have a real enemy, you target that enemy, plan against that enemy and destroy that enemy. Then go home (sort of)
But it ends the measures taken during that war like rationing, increased taxes, increased security...
With a non existent enemy or something large and intangible or too complex to easily define/dismiss... you can can put measures that never go away and you can add more tomorrow.
That 'enemy' will never be defeated, we will never go home, the rationing will go on and increased gub'mint control a way of life.
1984 really comes to mind..."Mr. Smith, attention Please!!!"
My girlfriend said trying to understand the mind of a liberal is like trying to have a logical discussion with a female PMSing.
That makes sense. Its also the thinking with feelings instead of logic.
I am all for conservation and controlling pollution. I think if we conserve more energy, it will keep the price down (thats the ONLY reason) and nobody wants to breath smog and look at a creek bed full of garbage.
But there is a huge difference conservation and global warming hysteria.
I turn lights off to save on my electric bill. They turn lights off because “mother earth is crying”

I no longer bother, it’s a pointless exercise. Their brains never fully developed.
They are an example of what occurs when an animal fails to evolve. Their existence is the only known evidence that some unknown animal did in fact breed with monkeys.
They are void of ANY ability to reason, they lack any common sense and they are a greater threat to our country than even the terrorists.
Personally, I refuse to knowingly share the same airspace with these bugs. Fortunately I am retired, so I am not stuck with personal interactions with any of these traitors.
If I were King, I’d probably keep them sedated for eventual use when the harvesting of critical body parts is needed to extend human life.
There, I tried to couch my words to prevent me from getting a jacket for being too far right, an evil crazy man or in anyway indicate that I could be hateful toward these wasted pieces of human-like flesh, libs— traitors all.

I personally know a number none sense spewing, lefto-cratic members of the hyphenated, more superior than thou class and not one of them, not a single one, follows what they force upon the world/my ears.
from the co-worker that preaches on the EVILS of corporations, blah, blah, blah while working for a huge corporation - and has his entire life! or the couple that moves into a city because they are so much better you suburban/country types but has never taken public transportation, drive two new high-end foreign cars will send the kids to private schools and of course, are racists.
But they sure like telling people what to do, what you do wrong and looking down upon others that are different.
