Nov. 19, 2009 NEW YORK - Chaz Bono said beginning the sex-change process to turn him from a woman to a man is "the best decision I've ever made."
The 40-year-old writer, activist and reality-TV star, who was born a girl to Sonny Bono and Cher, said he's eight months into the years-long transformation and said he feels great.
Formerly called Chastity, he told ABC's "Good Morning America" on Thursday: "Life is short and life is precious. This is who I am. I need to finally be who I am."
Bono said he always felt like a boy growing up and came out as a lesbian 11 years ago. Now he's undergone gender-reassignment surgery and hormone therapy.

And I will often mock PC gender-neutral words by adding “-person” at the end or by employing some other ridiculous usage just to sound stupid stupid, e.g.:

Or sometimes I will use the archaic but lovely “-trix” ending when referring to a female in a man’s job, such as Senatrix or negotiatrix

Does she want to be a man so she can have sex with women?
If she was a lesbian, she was already able to have sex with women. So why does she want to be a man? To have sex with gay men?
But if she wanted to have sex with straight men, she could have stayed a woman and stopped being a lesbian. Then she could have sex with men.
I am so confused!?!

I just have to wonder if she would have had this surgery were her father still alive.
I think she should have started with a stomach stapling. She has no idea what she is when she is so obese she is asexual.
If this is the best decision he’s ever made, he must have had a lousy life.
These are confusing situations. I know transexual who was a man and liked women. Now a woman and likes women, so is a lesbian. It’s confusing.
I refer to the Abominable Snowman as the Abominable Snowperson.
I just caught this ... 11 years ago? I recall Mary Bono saying that Sonny had asked Chastity not to make a big deal about her lesbianism during his campaign for the House in 1994, memory has it that she did not comply fully with her father's wishes on the matter, why we were hearing the story. But at any rate, this doesn't quite comply, the math don't add up.
