When I was little and my folks were working, in college and totally broke, my FAVORITE meal was when we’d have ‘Breakfast for Supper.’ Mom made the BEST waffles with bacon and chopped apples in them, then we’d smother them in applesauce. We were totally poor, but Man, life was GOOD! :)
What will the McCormicks of South Park do, this is their family staple! (Cartman demanding side dishes when he’s over to the house for dinner, hilarious!)

I remember waffles for dinner as well, my father made them from his mother’s recipe, buttermilk, and the old iron without the non-stick coating we had back then, they came out so light and crispy!! Oooooh, memory-food, it’s lovely, I haven’t thought of these in forever, thanks for the jog!
