Came back to this one to update: Went to the grocery story in Hollister, MO yesterday afternoon for my Thanksgiving feast purchasing, the freezer plenty loaded with Eggo waffles, Homestyle, Buttermilk, Blueberry, and there was no shortage whatever for canned pumpkin, both the large and small size cans of Libby's solid pack pumpkin and the small size solid pack store brand, as well as the can of Libby's pumpkin pie mix, where the spices and sugar are already included.
If anyone is unable to get waffles or canned pumpkin, head on out to the Ozarks!
