I wonder how difficult it is to get fava beans in Prem?

This very much reminds me of the opening words in the Preface of Solzhenitsyns The Gulag Archipelago.
In 1949 some friends and I came upon a noteworthy news item in Nature, a magazine of the Academy of Sciences. It reported in tiny type that in the course of excavation on the Kolymna River a subterranean ice lens had been discovered which was actually a frozen stream and in it were found specimens of prehistoric fauna some tens of thousands of years old. Whether fish or salamander, these were preserved in so fresh a state, the scientific correspondent reported, that those present immediately broke open the ice encasing the specimens and devoured them with relish on the spot.
Could it be that Russian affairs are going bad again?

Stop denigrating cannibalism — all cultures have their inherent value. No difference between cannibals, head-hunters, head-shrinkers and liberal democrats.

More and more I realize the ramifications of not living in a Christian culture.
Our American freedoms actually have little to do with capitalism and more to do with trusting the person you are doing business with.
Who do you trust the most: Practicing Christians. We need a Christian in every room!

I’m really not for government control.....but
I would hope that my local kebob house would face some sort of penalty if they bought their supplies from a homeless guy selling hunks of unidentified meat.

Cannibalism was pretty common in the PRC during the heady days of the 'Cultural Revolution' during the late '60's-early-70's.
Quite a few of the 'Imperialistic' professors and 'Landlords' wound up being served on the buffet. Well documented if ya know where to look.
