Who do I remove this @#$&&%^, Security Tool, a very nasty malware.
Thanks
Use Malwarebytes and/or SuperAntiSpyware?
Reformat?
I use Malwarebytes anti-Malware to get rid of malware.
What is it doing? Is it that one with all the pop ups? If so, I got that one on my machine at work, was finally able to do a system restore. Went back about 4 days and that seemed to work. But you’re right, that was one nasty piece of code.
You can get malwarebytes free software here
Just click the free link on the left hand side of the page
you can also use Spybot Search and Destroy
http://download.cnet.com/Spybot-Search-amp-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html
Microsoft security estentials.
Spy Bot
CCleaner
All free.... Should do it.
(1) Try canned malware removal tools (several will be suggested in this thread).
(2) When that fails, schedule an afternoon to work on it, go to www.majorgeek.com, and exactly follow their instructions for dealing with viruses and malware. (It’s all free, but will take a while. And when I say “exactly,” I mean EXACTLY. You will be messing with dangerous parts of the OS. A mistake WILL nuke it.)
There's a link on that page to download the free version of MalwareBytes. That should remove it.
I hate malware....Linux Mint user here.
I was able to do a system restore the second my computer turned back on. It takes a a minute before this nasty bug gets up and running after you turn on your computer. If you can get into system restore before it gets going, your home free.
Malwarebytes in safe mode.
My dad had that on his computer. One does have to follow the directions for removal EXACTLY. But it does work. At least he didn’t click on the link to pay for the program by credit card.
It’s similar to Old Maid- just try to give it to someone else.
Malwarebytes.
Who is ‘yoy’?
But that's just my opinion.
You bleeding heart libs and your lenient punishments that just coddle criminals instead of punishing them.

++ and bump for later perusal...
