Official thread to post our gratitude and our respect for Kimberley Munley and Amber Bahr.
These two ladies were hailed by Lt. Gen. Bob Cone.
Kimberley Munley was accredited shooting the jihad-bent lunatic and stopping the killing spree even after being shot herself.
19 year old Amber Bahr placed a tourniquet on a wounded soldier and carried him out to medical care. And only after she had taken care of others did she realize she had been shot.
Don't let the leftist media turn this whole ordeal into pitty for (I won't even say his name). The real heros are these two outstanding ladies and I am sure other stories of courage and disregard for ones own safety to help others will come to light.
We owe these too ladies our deepest gratitude for serving our country, keeping us free, and putting their lives on the line to help others.
Maybe someone can get the word out (twitter?...facebook?) and point these ladies to this thread and read our gratitude.

Y’know what really gets me? This kind of courage and devotion to both duty and comrades-in-arms is very common in today’s military. Examples are seen all the time.
The trouble is that the public doesn’t ever get the opportunity to find out about it because the mass media won’t report on it.
I hear and read stories like this in specialized media - VFW magazine, Army magazine, DoD press releases, here on FR, and some first-hand reports - on at least a monthly basis.
Thank You to all our beloved troops. Thank you for defending against Jihad. Against tyranny. For Freedom. Freedom to worship the one true God.
Thanks for highlighting this. When something like this happens, I always try to find something positive to tell my kids, especially about the heroes. Kimberly Munley and Amber Bahr will be joining us in spirit at the family dinner table soon.
