Thanks, jaycee. I think Teddy is sad over the shootings at Fort Hood and in Orlando.

Prayers for the families of the victims. What a senseless tragedy. I hate listening to the news anymore. :-(

Absolutely, Amy. Thats exactly what my brother and I were talking about. Every time ‘you know who’ shows his face on t.v., I go to a channel who isn’t carrying it. I can’t stand to look at him and hear him talk.....

My son was here and he said he didn’t think anyone liked him. I told him the Dims did ‘cause they’re as crazy as he is.’

Dennis Miller was on O’Reilly the other night talking about Nancy Pelosi’s empty skull. He said she was so dumb that she couldn’t win a Tic Tac Toe game against an omoeba! Now, thats funny.

We drove by the UW Madison ROTC building this morning. Saw their American flag at half mast. Really hit home. Then heard on the radio that a female service member from Wisconsin was among those killed yesterday. Her last name was Kreuger. God rest her young soul.

One tragedy a day can really keep you down, can’t it? But I do like to know whats going on in this world. One never knows what a day may bring! Now, lets all treat these bad guys softly and gently....we wouldn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. Wouldn’t be politically correct!

deceased at Fort Hood.
Also praying that God holds the wounded in his healing embrace.
This must be very hard for the men and women that are stationed there.

yorkie, I think we’re all feeling very low today and then another shooting in Orlando. Oh my, what is wrong with people! Just told Amy its naptime here...didn’t sleep too well last night and I think yesterday’s happenings had a lot to do with it.

I think the eagle is marching in step with our military. He is demanding justice in this latest act of terrorism.

I had to laugh while stopping to “ visit” today’s thread! I just washed a pan full of potatoes that were good but definitely full of eyes! They will be fried tonight.

Today, Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Committee Dave Camp (R-MI)
released a letter from the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT)
confirming that the failure to comply with the individual mandate to buy health
insurance contained in the Pelosi health care bill (H.R. 3962, as amended) could land people in jail.

The JCT letter makes clear that Americans who do not maintain “acceptable health
insurance coverage” and who choose not to, (or could not) pay the bill’s new
individual mandate tax (generally 2.5% of income), are subject to numerous civil and
criminal penalties, including criminal fines of up to $250,000 and imprisonment of up
to five years.
