Plenty of seed to sow there in those baskets!

I continue to be amazed by my kids. Just last night my 20 year old Jacob told me he will be getting baptized Dec 5th. My oldest son Elijah is educating anyone around him in creation vs evolution. We have been Blessed so I think we have been sowing some good seeds. : )

i tried to reply to you last night and would click reply and would wait and wait for it to come up, so I finally gave up.

Yes, Aqua, the good guys did win last night....yay!!! I wanted to win all 3 of those big races but I was very happy with the 2 big wins! I think these elections are very telling of what’s to come. People who were blinded have finally seen the light....LOL! Some of us knew what this man was from the beginning, didn’t we?

See ya later!

Thank you Meg! Animals always make us smile~~

I am in charge of next Red Hat Luncheon on Friday, the 13th! When they asked “Any volunteers?” I raised my hand..I thought they said “Who wants dessert?”~~~just kidding. I hate to ridicule but there are some who never do it and the rest of us are just a little tired of it!!

I have to email all who have email addys and the rest I have to telephone. I also send second notice closer to date! I have already made reservations at Macado’s, a new, very attractive place in our downtown area. They are a chain located in Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and thats all I am aware of!

Meg, your opening graphic brought back so many memories. When my kids were young, we would pack the family in the car, and drive to western colorado for apples. We would pack as many boxes as possible in the trunk and between the kids.

Then, everybody had a job - the kids would peel, dad would core and slice, and mom would make the pie dough, and fill the tins. We would make twenty apple pies, seal them in gallon sized baggies, and freeze them.

It was usually a three day job, but paid off, all winter long. And, if someone would call, telling us they were coming to visit - a frozen apple pie (brushed with egg yolk and sprinkled with sugar) would start baking, filling the house with wonderful cinnamon/apple smells.
