Well, I could use a little of that anorexic custom right now. LOL

I read the tiny feet made it difficult to walk. Must have been very uncomfortable.

I have never tried canning. I’ve frozen a few fruits and vegetables. I sure didn’t have enough to get us through the winter. LOL

At a buffet, I took what I thought was cheese only to discover it was tofu. Needless to say, I only took one little bite.

Then, I wouldn’t recommend the ‘tofu turkey’, Amy. That is, unless you LIKED it. (Heaven forbid!)

Thanks Amy!

I have so many graphics in my files....when I’m looking for a certain graphic, I always find one that surprises me! Then I just forget what I was looking for and use the one I found. I am a graphic ‘pack-rat’....

Have a lovely and peaceful evening...I am headed to bed!

Hey! I’ve missed seeing you when I’m here, too! You’re here, I’m not, I’m here, you’re not. We’ve got to quit not meeting like this. :)

“Ahem. Johnn, you should go to your local Mall someday. Lord have mercy!”

I must confess, my statement was a bit of tongue-in-cheek, I may remember those one piece short bottom coveralls that passed for swimsuits in YOUR days. I have some passing ‘acquaintance’ with several versions of swimwear that could even pass for heavy dental floss. (I blame that on my Naval (Navel?) experience, when I was all too easily led astray by women of a certain moral standard (or lack of them), who seemed intent on leading a young impressionable cowboy down the primrose path of debauchery. Of course, many of them never noticed that I had scouted the path to make sure there weren’t any dangers for a poor cowboy in such unfamiliar country!!!)

If it would help in any pending relationship, I can be very convincing in being ‘shocked’, blushingly embarrassed, and shy if it helps! ;^)

I'll be tomorrow morning, hope to see you then.

Sweet dreams.

Help With A Home Run
As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. —1 Peter 4:10

Sara Tucholsky, a softball player for Western Oregon University, hit the first home run of her life in a game against Central Washington. But she nearly didn’t get credit for it. As she rounded first base in excitement, she missed it! When she wheeled back to correct her mistake, she injured her knee. Crying, she crawled back to the base. By rule, she had to touch all four bases on her own for the home run to count. Her teammates could not assist her in any way.

Then Mallory Holtman, the first baseman for the opposing team, spoke up. “Would it be okay if we carried her around?” After conferring, the umpires agreed. So Mallory and another teammate made a chair of their hands and carted Sara around the bases. By the time they were through carrying her, many were crying at this selfless act of compassion, and Sara was awarded her home run.

The lesson for followers of Christ is clear. When fellow Christians stumble and fall, we need to follow the example of these ballplayers. Reach out. Lift them up and carry them along. It’s a wonderful opportunity to “minister . . . to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10).

When a fellow Christian stumbles
And he needs some help to stand;
Don’t ignore his circumstances—
Offer him your outstretched hand. —Sper

No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another. —Charles Dickens
