I absolutely adore that darling frog, Loti!
Lovely Meg! I viewed some pretty ones such as yours but I just didn’t have time for framing, etc.....LOL, so I chose the simple old photograph!
Thanks Meg!
Amy that is darling. My favorite little critter...aren’t they cuties?
My fingers just couldn’t spell Lori....I tried to correct it by it was too far gone...LOL! (how do you like your new name?) ;o)
Thinking about you today. Hope all went well and you are enjoying restful sleep.
It's pretty hard to get a restful sleep and pleasant dreams with the political leadership of the country flushing everything we hold dear down the sewer (just a little bit of a plumber's humor).
Jesus sat in the temple near the treasury and watched as people walked by and deposited their gifts for the temple (Mark 12). Some made a show of it, perhaps so others could see how much they had given. Just then a poor woman came by and threw in two mites.
A mite was the least valuable coin in circulation. Thus the widows gift was very small, amounting to nothing in most folks eyes. But our Lord saw what others did not see. She had given all that she had (Mark 12:44). The widow wasnt trying to draw attention to herself. She was simply doing what she was able to do. And Jesus noticed!
We mustnt forget that our Lord sees all that we do, though it may seem very small. It may be nothing more than showing a cheerful countenance in difficult times or an unnoticed act of love and kindness to someone who happens to pass by. It may be a brief, silent prayer for a neighbor in need.
Jesus said, Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. . . . But when you do a charitable deed, . . . may [it] be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly (Matt. 6:1-4).
The Road Along The Way
Each day just seems to come and go a pace
and I still struggle with the human race
What fools we be and practice to retain
still silent crying in the chilling rain
Errors and mishaps we litter our life
seemingly bent on all this war of strife
Yet among the discarded we oft find gold
and quietly hold it close as we grow old
Time flows on and we drift a pace still
seeking that which we may find our fill
Treasures of the most worn mortal soul
are more then enough to make one whole
We bow to a higher power we oft can’t fit
comfortably into a conscience happy to sit
So we go and so time flows and all moves on
and we await the coming of that last dawn

Ohhhhh, I love the pheasant, Meg! Can’t decide which graphic is prettier - this one or the Sandhill Cranes - so will have to give them a tie. :)
My pc has been acting up, but wanted to get today’s opening posted and browse through the past couple of days before defragging and ‘cleaning’, etc.
Catching up on pings, here - and #957 has GOT to be one of the cutest (AHEM) framed yorkie pictures I have ever seen! Thank you~!
Speaking of Happy and Military at the same time, Fox News the other day showed the sweetest video of a soldier's return home from Iraq and his 'best friend' greeting him. That darling dog was beside himself with joy and happiness at being reunited with his master again.
I found the video that they were showing and wanted to share it with you. It's the FIRST one in this link, but the other 'reunions' are sweet, too.
Your sweet Fall Opening is just so lovely, Billie, and so is the poetry! I love all the little special touches you’ve added. Thanks and Good Morning!
I sat in 'Dr. Fang's' chair for almost four hours,
And, survived!!!
One more appointment for the finale (Dec. 10)
And, I'll be done until next year!
Absolutely adorable...I love it!
