That is so pretty, Amy. Just got back a little bit ago and my eyes are still dilated from the drops ad the screen hurts my eyes. I’m making a grilled pimento cheese sandwich and a blackened hot dog to go along with it.

I do plan to come back later this evening and acknowledge others. Think I may rest a little after lunch or dinner or whatever it is....LOL! (Even the light in the kitchen hurts my eyes.) It’ll be okay after a while. One good thing, my vision is okay and hasn’t changed since last visit!

Elizabeth I was not the smartest monarch that England ever had but, during her reign, England went from being a second rate world power to the strongest country in the world. The economy was good and the arts flourished to the point where her reign is referred to as the “golden age“.

A leader's character and the character of their advisors is more important than a high IQ. God will supply wisdom but you must supply character.

Sarah Palin was more qualified than any of the other 3 candidates on the ballot.
The MSM did an excellent job in spreading the lie that she wasn't smart.

Jaycee!!! How do you do a grilled pimento cheese sandwich?
I adore a pimento/cheese sandwich. Grew up on them. What on earth is a blackened hotdog?

I love ‘em! I do mine in my little skillet. I put the sandwich in and put the weiner beside of it and it was very tasty together!

I’ll get some pimento cheese and try that. It sounds good. I usually just put a weiner in the oven and bake it until it sets off the smoke alarm. LOL

Really I try to remember it before the alarm goes off. :)

Well, polly, this is the way I do mine. I put a little mayo on one slice of bread and put the pimento cheese on the other. Then I butter one side and lay that side in the skillet first. As soon as I get it in the skillet, I butter the top side. I generally stay close to it when I am grilling, cause they burn quickly. (I sorta turn my burner up and down and do both sides. I like mine a little brown and crispy. Be careful when you start to eat it as the pimento cheese squeezes out a little and is red hot to your mouth...LOL!

I just put a little margarine in my small skillet and put in the hot dogs. I almost like them burned but not quite. They are so delicious! I noticed Amy said she was going to do hers in the oven. (I made her hungry)....I am always getting hungry when I read other’s post about cooking something. Try it, Polly!

LOL! Amy, my brother always said that was the only way they knew their toast was done (when the smoke alarm went off and by then its burned.) He used to love to tell that.

By the way, I finally made my Waldorf Salad yesterday and it is delicious if I do say so myself. Now you can start craving that. Waldorf Salad is pretty healthy all but the mayo!
