President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, invited more than 2,000 children to the White House on Saturday night for a Halloween party.

Later, in the East Room, the first couple were to be joined by Joe Biden, the vice-president, and his wife, Jill, at a Halloween reception for military families and White House staff and their children. While the president and the first lady were not planning to don fancy dress, some of their young guests were rumoured to be dressing as the Obamas.

I could be overly cynical, but I have to wonder if Gibbs dressed up as Darth Vader because many lefties love to call Dick Cheney “Darth Vader”.
Gibbs should have dressed up as Paul Begala, no need for a forehead costume.
