In this Oct. 15, 2009 photo, Scott O'Konek, a Minnesota bowhunter displays a 32-point buck he took during a hunt at Camp Ripley, Minn. The buck might have the largest non-typical or asymmetrical rack taken by archery in Minnesota. The buck scored a preliminary antler score of 228. The current record is 225 set in 1989, according to the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association. The deer was an estimated 5 years old and field-dressed at 192 pounds. (AP Photo/Minn. Dept. of Nat. Resources, Beau Liddell)
Ah, communing with nature at Camp Ripley. Woke up one morning with a Black Bear licking my toes. Never saw a buck like this, though.
whatever... all I’ve been seeing is squirrels and chipmunks.
I seen a few white tails in the bush running away , never hit a damn thing.
That is a big buck.
Very nice. Good ol Mississippi river bottoms. Ten years ago, there was a 19 point Albino Whitetail, hanging out on one of the ranges.
He shot Bambi’s Dad...
Is this Randy Quad ?
That is a CROWN!
Nice rack!
When we moved to ak in early 90’s; I had a couple 22,24 inch whitetail racks that I hung up in hallway. Everybody complained how small they were. I’ve got a couple dbl shovels and bulls in 50’s, but no super big racks up here; about fresh meat anyway for us. We often shoot cows late in the season, can’t eat the bulls.
She’s wearing those antlers backwards...
